Nevada Heart and Vascular Introduce

When seeking specialized medical attention for heart and vascular conditions, finding a local and reputable provider is crucial. For individuals in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the surrounding areas searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" or a "Vascular Doctor Near Me," Nevada Heart and Vascular is located at 4275 Burnham Ave #100, Las Vegas, NV 89119, USA. They can be contacted by phone at (702) 227-3422 or via their mobile number +1 702-227-3422.

As a combined heart and vascular center, Nevada Heart and Vascular likely offers a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions affecting both the cardiovascular system and the network of blood vessels. While specific details about the hospital's environment are not provided in the limited online reviews, one would typically expect a medical facility to include a reception and waiting area for patients, examination rooms for consultations and physical assessments, and potentially areas equipped for various diagnostic procedures and treatments related to cardiology and vascular medicine.

The available customer reviews provide mixed feedback regarding Nevada Heart and Vascular. One reviewer mentions that the "medical services were fine," offering a neutral perspective on the clinical care received. However, the other two reviews express significant dissatisfaction with various aspects of the patient experience.

A major concern raised is related to the billing department. One patient describes a prolonged and frustrating nine-month ordeal attempting to resolve a double billing issue involving an outsourced billing department and a separate lab. The reviewer highlights difficulties in communication, alleging that some billing representatives had limited English proficiency and resorted to reading scripts, hindering the resolution process. This negative experience with the billing department has led the patient to regret choosing Nevada Heart and Vascular.

The second detailed review paints a concerning picture of the overall patient experience at Nevada Heart and Vascular. This patient reports excessive wait times (up to three hours), condescending communication from staff, and significant delays in receiving and discussing test results (scheduling a follow-up over two months after the test). The reviewer recounts an instance of being pressured by a Medical Assistant (MA) regarding rescheduling an appointment and being advised to obtain test results from the records department to review with their primary care physician – the very doctor who referred them to a cardiologist in the first place. This suggests potential issues with internal communication and understanding of the referral process.

Furthermore, this patient describes a past negative interaction with another MA and expresses a reliance on the likable bedside manner of one physician, Dr. Marchand, as the primary reason for returning. However, even with Dr. Marchand, the reviewer notes issues such as the doctor's apparent lack of recall regarding the patient's history, the purpose of the visit, previous discussions, and ordered tests, requiring repeated corrections and explanations. The review culminates in an account of Dr. Marchand allegedly becoming argumentative and insulting during a consultation, an interaction witnessed by the patient's relative via speakerphone, leading to a firm decision not to return to Nevada Heart and Vascular.

Based on these reviews, it is challenging to identify specific positive features of Nevada Heart and Vascular beyond the neutral comment about the medical services themselves. The recurring themes in the negative feedback point towards significant issues in administrative processes, particularly billing, as well as concerns regarding patient communication, wait times, and potentially the consistency and attentiveness of some medical staff. The positive aspect mentioned is the bedside manner of Dr. Marchand, although this is counterbalanced by concerns about his memory and communication during consultations.

There is no promotional information available in the provided text. Hospitals and medical centers sometimes offer specific programs, highlight advanced technologies, or provide information about new services to attract patients. However, no such details are included in the given reviews.

In conclusion, while Nevada Heart and Vascular in Las Vegas, NV, aims to serve the community's cardiac and vascular needs, the available online reviews present a concerning picture of the patient experience. Significant issues are highlighted regarding billing practices, excessive wait times, communication challenges with staff, and inconsistencies in physician attentiveness and communication. For local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" or a "Vascular Doctor Near Me," it is crucial to consider these reported negative experiences alongside any potential positive aspects, such as the perceived quality of medical services by one reviewer and the bedside manner of Dr. Marchand according to another. Prospective patients may want to seek additional information from other sources or consider these reviews carefully when making decisions about their cardiovascular care providers in the Las Vegas area. A smooth administrative process and positive patient-physician communication are vital components of a satisfactory healthcare experience.

My doctor (Maholtra) saved or at least extended my life! Today at 2:35 pm I called and used the call back option. Received a call in 22 mins. Never have ever waited longer than an average time of any other doctor appointment. Highly recommend.

It was a very nice place. The doctors were super. The reception was super and the nurse was very nice and I’m just hoping there is some help I can get from my feet from all the pain I’ve been going through and it was a very good day and I have another apartment on April 14. I’m looking forward to see the doctor.

My wife is a heart patient and she has tried for 21 days to call to set an appointment for a test that they can only do here in Las Vegas. She even went down to the office to speak to someone and they wouldn’t come out to speak with her. No care or regard for people or heart patients. We will not be following up with them, and we will not be referring them to our friends and family. .
