The Heart Center of The Oranges Introduce

For residents of West Orange, New Jersey, and the surrounding communities seeking cardiovascular care within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category, The Heart Center of The Oranges, located at 92 Old Northfield Ave, West Orange, NJ 07052, aims to provide local access to heart health services. Understanding the importance of accessible and timely cardiac care, this center serves as a point of contact for individuals seeking diagnosis, treatment, and management of various heart conditions. While the provided information does not detail the physical environment extensively, patients can generally expect a medical office setting equipped for consultations, examinations, and potentially some diagnostic procedures.

The services offered at The Heart Center of The Oranges likely encompass a range of cardiac care, typically provided in an outpatient setting. Based on the reviews, the center has multiple doctors, including Dr. Shwer and Dr. Miller, and Dr. Eddy Simon. The availability of multiple physicians suggests that the center can cater to a diverse range of cardiac needs and potentially offer appointments with different specialists within the practice. However, specific details about the full scope of services are best obtained by contacting the center directly.

The features of The Heart Center of The Oranges, as perceived through the lens of patient reviews, present a mixed picture. One notable feature highlighted positively is the efficiency and personable nature of at least one of the physicians, Dr. Shwer. According to a reviewer, Dr. Shwer is efficient, personable, and takes the time to answer questions, with short waiting times to see her, at least during the reviewer's experience. This suggests that some patients experience positive interactions with the medical staff and appreciate the doctor's approach to patient care.

However, a significant and recurring issue raised in the reviews pertains to the professionalism and competence of the front desk staff. One detailed review describes the attitude of the front desk as "terrible" and "rude," creating a negative initial impression for patients. The reviewer recounts a specific incident where a follow-up appointment was scheduled with a doctor who was not in the office on that day, highlighting significant scheduling errors and a lack of proactive communication from the staff. The difficulty in rectifying a mistake on a doctor's note, requiring multiple staff members and an extended period, further underscores concerns about the front desk's efficiency and competence. The reviewer also mentions receiving a prior note with spelling and grammatical errors, questioning the overall professionalism of the administrative aspects of the practice.

Another review echoes concerns about the front desk staff, specifically noting a difference in professionalism between the staff associated with different doctors within the center. The reviewer expresses a wish for the staff working with Dr. Eddy Simon to improve their knowledge and patient interaction skills, citing an instance where a receptionist was unable to answer a question and displayed a "nonchalant attitude," deemed inappropriate for healthcare. This suggests inconsistencies in the level of service and professionalism among the administrative staff.

Given the strong negative feedback regarding the front desk staff, a potential feature that needs improvement is the administrative and customer service aspect of The Heart Center of The Oranges. While the medical care provided by at least one doctor is praised, the negative experiences with the front desk could significantly impact the overall patient experience and perception of the center. Addressing these issues is crucial for ensuring patient satisfaction and maintaining a professional image.

There’s a difference between Dr.Miller staff and Dr. Eddy Simon, I wish the ladies that works with Dr.Eddy Simon take a few lessons. Learn the doctors you working with so when asked a question you don’t just shrug your shoulders. The receptionist at this location on 12/24/24 (with glasses) needs to be nice and not lie about small things. That “nonchalant attitude” is not cool health care.
