Middlesex Cardiology Associates Introduce

For individuals in Middletown, CT, seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Middlesex Cardiology Associates, located at 420 Saybrook Rd, offers a local option for cardiovascular care. As a provider within the platform category of "Heart Doctor Near Me," Middlesex Cardiology Associates aims to serve the community with services related to heart health. Reviews from patients provide mixed perspectives on their experiences with the practice, highlighting both positive aspects and areas for potential improvement.

One patient described their experience as "always a wonderful experience," indicating a generally positive perception of the care and service received at Middlesex Cardiology Associates. This positive sentiment suggests that many patients find the practice to be satisfactory and perhaps even exceptional in some aspects of their cardiac care journey. This broad positive statement, however, lacks specific details about the environment or services, suggesting an overall favorable impression.

Further positive feedback shines a light on specific staff members. Shana, identified as the check-in/out customer service specialist, is highly praised as "the best." The reviewer notes her ability to remember names, her consistently upbeat and friendly demeanor, and her exceptional customer service skills. Such positive interactions with administrative staff can significantly contribute to a patient's overall experience, making them feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive and throughout their visit. This personal touch can be particularly important for patients who may be feeling anxious or concerned about their health.

The same reviewer also offered high praise for Dr. Gallo, describing him as "second to none" and a cardiovascular doctor who provides support akin to a "great friend." This suggests that Dr. Gallo not only possesses excellent medical expertise in cardiology but also establishes a strong rapport with his patients, offering emotional support and a caring approach. The comparison to a supportive friend implies a doctor who is approachable, understanding, and goes beyond the purely clinical aspects of care to connect with patients on a personal level. The reviewer further noted that the rest of the staff is "top-notch," indicating a generally high standard of professionalism and competence across the team at Middlesex Cardiology Associates.

However, not all patient experiences have been entirely positive. One review shared a concerning experience regarding interactions with the nursing staff over the phone. The reviewer described the staff as "very unprofessional" and having an "attitude." This negative interaction can be detrimental to a patient's perception of the practice, especially when seeking important information or assistance. Additionally, the same reviewer reported a significant delay in response to a request for prescription approval from their insurance company, stating they had to wait a week. This delay was described as not an isolated incident, suggesting potential issues with the efficiency or responsiveness of certain administrative or nursing processes within the Middletown office. Such delays in crucial administrative tasks can cause stress and inconvenience for patients managing their health.

While the provided information does not offer specific details about the physical environment of Middlesex Cardiology Associates, the positive comments about the friendly and upbeat front desk staff suggest a welcoming atmosphere in the reception area. However, the negative comment regarding the professionalism of the nursing staff over the phone introduces a contrasting perspective on the overall environment and patient interactions beyond the physician and front desk.

Always a wonderful experience. Shana is the best check-in/out customer service specialist! She always remembers your name and is upbeat and friendly. Dr. Gallo is second to none; a cardiovascular doctor who supports you like a great friend. The rest of the staff is top-notch as well.

When calling to ask a nursing staff for information found they were very unprofessional and had an attitude, had to wait a week before they responded to a request that they respond to my insurance company for a prescription approval, not the first time I had a problem with the middletown office

The scheduling at the Middletown office is terrible. They cancel and switch appointments without telling the patient anything. When I saw the physician previously I was satisfied, not now. I am considering going elsewhere. No one in Middletown will help you to straighten things out. They deserve 0 stars.
