Sushruti Boorla, DO Introduce

For individuals in Plano, Texas, searching for a cardiologist within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category, it is crucial to consider all available information regarding potential healthcare providers. This introduction provides an objective summary of the patient feedback available concerning Sushruti Boorla, DO, whose office is located at 6300 W Parker Rd #322, Plano, TX 75093, USA. The publicly listed phone number for her office is (972) 981-7870, with a mobile contact number also provided as +1 972-981-7870.

The patient reviews available online for Dr. Sushruti Boorla present a concerning account of procedural complications and post-operative care in one instance, alongside a positive assessment of her attentiveness and thoroughness, which is however overshadowed by significant billing concerns. Prospective patients are strongly advised to carefully consider both perspectives before making a decision about their cardiac care.

One highly critical review details a troubling experience during a routine heart catheterization procedure. The reviewer states that issues arose during the procedure, following which Dr. Boorla allegedly informed the patient's husband that no further follow-up appointments with her would be necessary. Subsequently, the reviewer claims that no one from Dr. Boorla’s team checked on them before their discharge from the hospital.

Continuing this narrative, the reviewer recounts informing a recovery nurse about experiencing eye issues and nausea, which were dismissed as normal for the procedure. The reviewer alleges that despite these concerns, the nurse did not have a doctor examine them. Upon discharge, the patient reportedly received no information regarding potential warning signs to watch out for. Tragically, three hours after being discharged, the reviewer was allegedly taken to another hospital due to being unresponsive. The reviewer concludes with a strong recommendation to "discourage everyone not to use Dr. Boorla and Texas Health Presbyterian Plano hospital," indicating a severe lack of confidence in both the doctor and the associated medical facility.

In contrast, the second review offers a positive assessment of Dr. Boorla's clinical abilities, describing her as a "Great doctor!" The reviewer praises her for doing a "wonderful job" and being "very attentive and thorough." This feedback suggests that Dr. Boorla possesses positive qualities in her patient interactions and medical approach.

However, this positive review is significantly tempered by serious concerns regarding the billing practices associated with Dr. Boorla's practice, which is part of the Texas Health group. The reviewer notes a requirement for upfront payment before being seen, which they did not find problematic in itself. However, they express frustration with receiving new bills each month after already paying the previous one. The reviewer details paying an initial $58 at the visit, followed by an additional $113 for items allegedly not covered by insurance. Two months later, they received a further bill for $43, without a clear explanation of the new charges or a breakdown of previous payments.

The reviewer explicitly states their belief that "the Texas Health group that she is a part of works to add on after the bill when it’s already been reviewed by insurance so they can get more of your money." They describe this practice as "kind of ridiculous," particularly due to the lack of transparency regarding payments and new charges. This billing experience significantly detracts from the positive assessment of Dr. Boorla's clinical skills in this particular review.

The provided information offers limited insight into the environment of Dr. Boorla's clinic, beyond its location within a medical office building (MOB 2) at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano. The reviews do not describe the ambiance or facilities of the office itself. Similarly, while one review details a heart catheterization procedure, the specific range of cardiac services offered by Dr. Boorla is not comprehensively outlined. The positive review focuses on her attentiveness and thoroughness during consultations, suggesting a patient-focused approach to examinations and discussions.

There is no explicit promotional information provided for Dr. Boorla. The positive aspect of one review highlights her clinical attentiveness, which could be considered an implicit positive attribute of her practice. However, this is significantly counterbalanced by the serious concerns raised in both reviews regarding procedural complications, post-operative care, and billing practices.

For local users in Plano seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," the conflicting patient reviews for Dr. Sushruti Boorla present a complex picture. The critical account detailing significant procedural issues and a lack of post-operative care leading to a severe adverse event is deeply concerning and should be carefully considered. While the second review praises Dr. Boorla's attentiveness and thoroughness, the serious allegations regarding billing irregularities associated with the Texas Health group are also significant and warrant attention.

Prospective patients should weigh the reported positive clinical interaction against the serious negative experiences concerning procedural safety and billing transparency. It may be prudent to seek further information, possibly including Dr. Boorla's credentials, experience with the specific procedures one might require, and the billing practices of Texas Health Presbyterian Plano. Consulting with other healthcare providers or seeking additional reviews from other platforms could also provide a more comprehensive understanding of the patient experience associated with Dr. Boorla and this medical facility.

In conclusion, the publicly available patient reviews for Dr. Sushruti Boorla in Plano present a mixed and concerning picture. While one patient found her attentive and thorough, another detailed a severe adverse event following a procedure and a lack of appropriate post-operative care. Additionally, significant billing concerns were raised by the patient who otherwise had a positive clinical assessment. Due to the serious nature of the negative feedback, prospective patients are strongly advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before choosing Dr. Boorla for their cardiac care.

My visit with Dr Boorla was a pleasure which is not often something I use to describe a doctor visit. She and her staff were extremely accommodating and answered all of my questions. Her professionalism and bedside manner were impeccable. I am glad I was referred to her.
