Pulse Heart Institute Cardiology Services - Auburn Introduce
For residents in Auburn, Washington, and the surrounding areas seeking cardiovascular care, Pulse Heart Institute Cardiology Services - Auburn, located at Plaza Two, 202 N Division St #201, Auburn, WA 98001, presents a local option within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform category. As part of the Pulse Heart Institute network, this clinic aims to provide a range of cardiac services. However, the available patient reviews present a mixed picture of the patient experience, with significant discrepancies between positive feedback regarding the medical staff and negative feedback concerning the administrative aspects.
Environment and Atmosphere:
Based on the contrasting patient reviews, the environment and atmosphere at Pulse Heart Institute Cardiology Services - Auburn appear to be perceived very differently by individuals. One reviewer describes an "impressive" experience from the moment of entry, highlighting helpful assistance in navigating the building and a detailed check-in process providing necessary information. This positive account suggests a welcoming and organized environment, at least in some aspects of patient interaction. The same reviewer also praises the nurses as "outstanding," indicating a caring and competent clinical atmosphere during procedures, where efforts are made to ensure patient understanding and comfort, even in potentially overwhelming situations. However, the second review paints a starkly different picture, labeling the clinic as "the worst ever" and specifically criticizing the front desk staff as "super unprofessional" and prone to "yelling." This negative feedback suggests a chaotic and unwelcoming administrative environment, potentially causing significant stress and frustration for patients. The reported issues with frequent appointment rescheduling, alleged misinformation about voicemails, and perceived dismissiveness regarding the doctor's availability raise concerns about the reliability and patient-centeredness of the administrative processes. The stark contrast between these two reviews suggests that the patient experience may vary significantly depending on individual interactions and circumstances within the clinic.
Comprehensive Services:
As a cardiology service within the Pulse Heart Institute, the Auburn location likely offers a range of essential cardiac services focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. These services typically include:
- Comprehensive Cardiac Consultations and Evaluations: Thorough assessments of patient medical history, symptoms, and risk factors for various heart conditions.
- Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG): A standard diagnostic test to measure the electrical activity of the heart.
- Echocardiography: An ultrasound imaging technique used to visualize the heart's structure and function.
- Stress Testing (Exercise and/or Pharmacological): Evaluating the heart's response to stress to detect underlying issues.
- Holter and Event Monitoring: Continuous or intermittent recording of the heart's electrical activity to identify arrhythmias.
- Management of Common Cardiovascular Conditions: Diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

- Coordination of Diagnostic Testing: Ordering and interpreting results from various cardiac tests.
- Referrals for Specialized Procedures and Surgery: When necessary, referring patients to other specialists or facilities for advanced interventions.
- Preventive Cardiology: Educating patients on lifestyle modifications and strategies to maintain heart health.
The positive review's mention of a "procedure that they were going to do" implies that the clinic offers more than just consultations and likely conducts some level of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures on-site. However, the negative review's account of repeated appointment rescheduling and difficulty in seeing the doctor raises concerns about the accessibility and reliability of these services, potentially hindering patients' ability to receive timely and consistent care.
Key Features and Benefits for Local Users (Based on Positive Feedback):
- Impressive Initial Assistance: Some patients report excellent guidance upon entering the building.

- Potentially Caring Medical Staff: The positive review suggests a dedicated and hardworking clinical team.

Administrative Concerns and Potential Drawbacks (Based on Negative Feedback):
- Unprofessional Front Desk Staff: Reports of rudeness, yelling, and an inability to apologize politely raise significant concerns about the initial point of contact and overall administrative experience.
- Frequent Appointment Rescheduling: Repeated rescheduling without proper communication (no voicemails received despite claims) can lead to delays in care and patient frustration.
- Questionable Explanations for Doctor Availability: Allegations of providing misleading reasons for the doctor's unavailability erode patient trust.
- Poor Communication: Difficulty in resolving issues with the front desk due to unprofessional behavior.
- Low Overall Rating Suggests Widespread Issues: The mention of a low overall star rating ("less than two star reviews") indicates that the negative experiences may be more prevalent.

Worst clinic ever. The support staff do not care and it definitely shows in the way they treat patients. I had to have a prescription filled and waited over 3 days for VITAL medication. My pharmacy sent out multiple requests to approve refills everyday that went completely ignored. I called them multiple times and had to wait over 45mins to an hour. Every person I talked to was either completely useless or completely useless and rude.
Doctors seem competent. Horrible communication. I've been trying to get ahold of someone with questions about my medications for 2 weeks and haven't got a call back or message back on mychart. If they can't handle the patient load they have how are they taking new clients.
They held my prescription of 81 mg low-dose until I made an appointment, not professional. Hostile environment?
