The available customer reviews for Nevada Heart and Vascular Center present significant concerns regarding administrative practices and billing transparency. One reviewer detailed a highly disruptive experience involving the cancellation of two scheduled tests on the same day with short notice. This cancellation, attributed to a sick technician and a broken machine, led to significant inconvenience and the need for the patient to take two separate days off work. The reviewer expressed frustration with the lack of accommodation for rescheduling at the earliest possible time.

Another review raises serious concerns about billing practices and the lack of transparency regarding the cost of procedures. This reviewer reported undergoing a chemical stress test, which was significantly more expensive than a standard treadmill stress test they were expecting. They allege that the center failed to obtain necessary pre-authorization for the medication used, resulting in a substantial unexpected bill after co-payments. The reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with the payment plan offered by the center, highlighting a lack of upfront disclosure about the potential costs of testing.

These reviews suggest potential issues with the center's administrative efficiency, communication regarding appointment changes, and transparency in billing practices. The experience of having two appointments canceled on the same day with short notice indicates potential challenges in scheduling and operational reliability. The concerns raised about unexpected high costs and the lack of pre-procedure cost disclosure are significant factors for potential patients to consider.

For local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" and considering Nevada Heart and Vascular Center, it is crucial to be aware of these reported experiences. Potential patients may want to inquire specifically about the center's policies regarding appointment cancellations, the process for confirming appointments, and the typical timelines for rescheduling. Additionally, it would be prudent to have a detailed discussion about the anticipated costs of any recommended tests or procedures, including the type of stress test being ordered and the potential for additional charges beyond standard co-pays.

To ensure financial clarity, patients should proactively ask about the billing process, whether pre-authorization is routinely obtained for procedures and medications, and if the center can provide an estimate of out-of-pocket expenses before undergoing any tests. Understanding the payment options and the center's policies on payment plans is also advisable.

Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided text for Nevada Heart and Vascular Center. Individuals interested in learning about any special programs or initiatives should contact the center directly. It is always a good practice to inquire about accepted insurance plans and payment options during the initial contact.

In conclusion, Nevada Heart and Vascular Center in Las Vegas, NV, offers cardiac and vascular services to the local community. However, the publicly available reviews highlight significant concerns regarding appointment management and billing transparency. Local users considering this center for their heart care needs should carefully review this feedback and consider asking detailed questions about these areas when contacting the center. Proactive communication about scheduling policies and the costs associated with tests and procedures is recommended to ensure a more informed and satisfactory healthcare experience.

This place is absolutely terrible. You will wait for hours, and much of that time will be spent standing, as they do not properly accommodate their patients. When I was there, they were severely overbooked, with a line extending out the door—many of those waiting were senior citizens. As someone younger with back pain, I found it extremely uncomfortable, so I can only imagine what these elderly patients had to endure. There is a clear lack of care and consideration in how they operate.

Last week I went to Nevada Heart and Vascular at the Windmill location to have a checkup with Dr. Namazi. He performed an Ablation a couple of years ago and I have to say, he did an amazing job! I'm not sure I thanked him that day, so let me do that now. Thank you Dr. Namazi!

Waited less than 5 minutes. Nurse was very nice and attentive. Dr. Bowers was great. Prescribed the correct medication to get my blood pressure under control.
