Nathan Lo, MD Introduce

For individuals in Fort Worth, Texas, who are searching for a cardiologist under the category "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is crucial to consider all available information regarding potential healthcare providers. This page contains important feedback shared by patients concerning Nathan Lo, MD, whose office is located at 1300 W Terrell Ave Ste 500, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA. The publicly listed phone number for this location is (817) 252-5000, with a mobile contact number of +1 817-252-5000 also provided.

It is essential to note that the available patient reviews for Dr. Nathan Lo present significant concerns regarding the standard of care provided. These reviews detail deeply troubling experiences and raise serious questions about patient safety and the doctor's approach to treatment. Prospective patients are strongly advised to carefully consider this information.

One particularly distressing account comes from an individual whose sister was under Dr. Lo's care. According to the review, Dr. Lo prescribed the blood thinner Xarelto to the patient without, allegedly, adequately reviewing her medical history. The reviewer states that their sister has two blood disorders that are contraindicated with this medication without close supervision. The review further alleges that instead of providing close monitoring, Dr. Lo informed the patient that he would see her in six months, contingent on her not experiencing a stroke or embolism.

The subsequent health decline described in the review is alarming. The patient is reported to be in hospice in her final days, suffering from severe symptoms including prolonged and recurring bloody noses requiring medical intervention, horrendous black tarry diarrhea, and vomiting. The reviewer poignantly describes their sister's significant weight loss and inability to keep down liquids, leaving her barely able to communicate. The emotional impact on the family is evident in the reviewer's heartfelt expression of grief and concern.

The reviewer, a retired pediatric nurse with her own history of medical challenges, raises profound questions about the perceived lack of care, suggesting a potential bias based on age or perceived resource consumption. These are serious allegations that underscore a deep sense of being failed by the healthcare system and specifically by Dr. Lo.

Another review echoes the same critical concerns, stating unequivocally, "This is a horrible Dr.!!" This account corroborates the allegation that Dr. Lo prescribed Xarelto without apparently considering the patient's pre-existing blood disorders, identified as Factor 7 or 8 deficiency and Microcydic Anemia. The reviewer asserts that Dr. Lo's actions are "literally killing her!"

This second review reinforces the alarming claim about the follow-up instructions, stating that when the patient and her daughter inquired about the next appointment, Dr. Lo's response was allegedly "in May if she doesn’t Stroke or throw an embolism!! In otherwise if you’re still alive!!" This is described as a failure to adequately monitor a patient on a potent medication with known contraindications.

The severe physical deterioration of the patient is further detailed, including prolonged bloody noses lasting up to seven hours, easy bruising from simple activities like showering, extreme weakness leading to an inability to obtain a blood pressure reading, and a dangerously low pulse of 44. The patient is reportedly at home on hospice and oxygen, experiencing black tarry stools and vomiting, and has suffered extreme weight loss.

The reviewer concludes with a stark warning to others, stating, "ANY BODY SEEING HIM IS TAKING THEIR LIFE IN THEIR OWN HANDS!!" This emphatic statement underscores the level of concern and distress experienced by those connected to Dr. Lo's patients.

Given the gravity of the issues raised in these patient reviews, it is impossible to provide a positive or neutral introduction to Dr. Nathan Lo within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category. The information available online paints a picture of significant lapses in patient care, potentially life-threatening errors in prescribing medication, and a dismissive attitude towards a seriously ill patient. These accounts raise serious ethical and professional concerns.

Therefore, instead of a standard introduction covering environment, services, and features, this response must serve as a critical alert to local users seeking a heart doctor in Fort Worth. The documented experiences of patients under Dr. Lo's care should be thoroughly considered by anyone contemplating seeking his services. Patient safety and well-being are paramount, and the information presented in these reviews suggests a potential risk associated with this particular physician.

It is important to emphasize that this introduction is based solely on the publicly available patient reviews. While it is crucial to consider all perspectives, the consistency and severity of the allegations warrant serious attention. No information regarding the environment or specific services offered by Dr. Lo's clinic can outweigh the critical concerns raised about the quality and safety of patient care.

Prospective patients are strongly advised to seek additional information, consider second opinions, and thoroughly research any healthcare provider before making decisions about their cardiac care. The experiences shared in these reviews serve as a stark reminder of the importance of diligent vetting and informed decision-making when choosing a "Heart Doctor Near Me" or any healthcare professional.

I am changing my cardiologist. Doctor was nice but I wanted testing to be performed and I was called and after the initial appointment, I wouldn't see Dr. Lo until almost 7 months. I didn't appreciate that he focused on other issues other than cardiovascular and heart related issues.

Dr. Lo is both my mother's and my husband's cardiologist. He is amazing! He takes his time listening to concerns and explaining details in an easy way to understand. Dr. Lo is very patient and personable.
