When considering a hospital for cardiac care, understanding the patient experience, particularly within critical areas like the emergency room, is crucial. The provided reviews offer a glimpse into recent patient interactions at Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus. One reviewer recounted a positive initial experience with the nurses and front desk staff in the emergency room while looking for a family member. This positive interaction led the reviewer to bring their sister to the same ER for a serious medical condition.

However, the subsequent experience detailed in the same review highlights significant concerns. While the front desk staff was again described as kind and the sister was admitted quickly, the registration process was perceived negatively, with information being collected before basic medical assessments like blood pressure checks. The most serious concern raised in this review pertains to the behavior of a specific nurse named Jenni. The reviewer reported witnessing Jenni being rude to elderly patients. Furthermore, during a blood draw from the reviewer's sister, who had a history of a brain aneurysm and stroke, the sister felt dizzy and passed out. The reviewer's account alleges that Jenni's response to this emergency was dismissive and unprofessional, stating, "Well, what do you want me to do?" This experience understandably left the reviewer with a very negative impression of the care provided by this particular nurse.

Another review expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the emergency room services at this hospital, contrasting it with seemingly positive experiences in other parts of the facility. This reviewer stated that the ER staff "don't listen" and prioritize rapid discharge. The strong negative language used, including the sentiment of not recommending the ER even for a "dying dog," underscores a significant level of concern regarding the quality of care received in the emergency department during the reviewer's last two visits.

Based on these reviews, the environment within the emergency room at Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus appears to be a point of concern for some patients, despite positive interactions with the front desk staff and some nurses. The alleged lack of thorough initial assessment and the reported unprofessional behavior of at least one nurse raise questions about the overall quality of immediate care for critical patients in the ER. The stark contrast between the positive experience in other parts of the hospital (mentioned by one reviewer) and the negative ER experiences suggests a potential disparity in the quality of care across different departments within the San Martin Campus.

The features of Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus, as gleaned from these specific reviews, present a mixed picture. Positive aspects include the kindness and efficiency of the front desk staff and some nurses. However, significant negative features highlighted are the potentially rushed registration process in the ER, alleged instances of rude and unprofessional nursing behavior, and a perceived lack of attentiveness to patient needs in the emergency department, potentially prioritizing rapid discharge over thorough care. The contrast between the positive experiences in other parts of the hospital and the negative ER experiences suggests that the quality of care may vary depending on the specific department or unit.

The provided information does not include any specific promotional information for Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus. Hospitals often participate in community health initiatives or offer specific programs related to various medical conditions, including heart health. In conclusion, Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospital, San Martin Campus in Las Vegas offers emergency and specialized medical services, which would include cardiac care. While some aspects of patient interaction, particularly with the front desk staff and potentially in areas outside the emergency room, are reported as positive, the provided reviews raise serious concerns about the quality of care and professionalism within the emergency department. Allegations of rushed assessments, dismissive behavior from a nurse, and a perceived prioritization of rapid discharge over thorough care are significant points of concern. Individuals seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" within this hospital setting, especially in emergency situations, should carefully consider these recent patient experiences alongside any other information they can gather about the hospital's cardiac services and the quality of care provided in their emergency room and cardiology departments. I used to think this was the best hospital in Nevada, however; after my last two trips to the ER I wouldn’t send my worst enemy’s dying dog there!!! The don’t listen in the ER, they just want you to hurry up and get discharged. Every other part of the hospital I have been in was amazing. Just the worst ER in the country!!! 🤬😤

My wife had outpatient surgery here recently. It is one of the nicest and cleanest hospitals I have seen. All the staff was great... friendly and helpful. I had lunch in the cafeteria and it was actually good.
