This could involve conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests), prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans for conditions like hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Without confirmation of his specialty, it's important for prospective patients to verify his expertise in cardiac care if that is their specific need.

The reviewer mentions "poor bedside manner" and a lack of follow-up from the doctor himself, indicating a potential issue with patient communication and engagement. The experience with lab work, where the patient had to repeatedly request the procedure and ultimately a nurse facilitated it, suggests potential inefficiencies in administrative processes or communication between the doctor and his staff. The reviewer's perception that Dr. Brown is "too busy for patients" and primarily communicates through his nurse raises concerns about the level of direct interaction patients might expect.

The reviewer's feeling that Dr. Brown is overly busy and relies heavily on his nurse for communication may be a significant consideration for potential patients who value direct and consistent interaction with their physician. This review, while a single data point, suggests potential challenges in patient-doctor communication and follow-through within Dr. Brown's practice.

Poor bedside manner, disappears for any follow up. He told me to get some lab work done but never wrote me a prescription to get it done nor did he ask his staff to take blood. I needed to keep asking his staff about it through multiple phone calls until finally a nurse stepped up and agreed to take my blood. He will only have his nurse contact you. He has his hands in way too many ventures, and gave me the feeling he was too busy for patients.
