Based on the limited online reviews, it is important to consider the feedback provided by patients. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the consultation process, stating that the doctor offered suggestions for treatments that had already been tried and referred the patient to a specialist seemingly unrelated to their primary pain complaint. This feedback raises concerns about the thoroughness of the evaluation and the effectiveness of the treatment recommendations in this particular instance. The emotional distress expressed in the review is also noteworthy.

Another review mentions a concern regarding the wait time for an exam and echocardiogram, suggesting that the total time taken exceeded what was expected for these procedures. This points to a potential issue with clinic efficiency or patient flow on the day of the appointment. It is important to note that these are individual experiences and may not be representative of the experiences of all patients at Carilion Clinic Cardiology - Holston Rd.

Given the limited and negative nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to highlight specific positive features or promotional information for this particular location based solely on this data. As part of the Carilion Clinic system, patients might expect adherence to established medical protocols and access to a network of specialists. However, the provided feedback suggests potential areas for improvement in patient communication, diagnostic approach, and clinic efficiency at this specific Holston Rd. location.

What a waste of time. I come in for a years worth of pain and an explanation as to the various treatments I have tried to remedy this painful situation, and what does the dr do.... suggestions of more treatments that didn't work and a referral to another type of dr that has nothing to do with this type of pain. I'm actually going to go buy some strong rope and hang from a tree because this pain is unbearable. Thanks doc!

Shouldn’t take over an hour for an exam and an echo to be done. Echo is a 10 minute test.
