Woodwinds Hospital Ed: Hartung Dennis MD Introduce

For individuals in Woodbury, Minnesota, and the surrounding areas seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Woodwinds Hospital, located at 1925 Woodwinds Dr., Woodbury, MN 55125, USA, is a local medical facility that may house various specialists, including cardiologists like Dr. Hartung Dennis MD. When searching for cardiac care, it is essential to consider the hospital environment, the specific services offered by the cardiology department and individual physicians, and the experiences of other patients who have received care at this facility.

The provided information includes two patient reviews for Woodwinds Hospital. It is important to note that these reviews do not specifically address the cardiology services or Dr. Hartung Dennis MD directly, but rather provide feedback on other aspects of the hospital. One review mentions a positive experience with the neurosurgical team but expresses significant concerns about the aftercare, suggesting that the quality of care may vary across different departments or stages of treatment within the hospital. The reviewer even recommends seeking care at another facility where the same surgical team operates, implying a potential inconsistency in the overall patient experience at Woodwinds Hospital.

The second review offers a starkly negative assessment of the emergency room at Woodwinds Hospital. The patient describes an excessively long wait time for prescriptions and criticizes the apparent lack of diligence and professionalism among the nursing staff in the ER. This review strongly advises against using the hospital's emergency services. While these reviews do not directly comment on the cardiology services or Dr. Hartung Dennis MD, they provide a glimpse into the overall patient experience and potential concerns regarding efficiency and aftercare at Woodwinds Hospital, which might be relevant for individuals considering seeking cardiac care there.

Given that the provided information does not include specific details about the cardiology department's environment at Woodwinds Hospital, we can only make general assumptions based on typical hospital settings. A cardiology department usually includes consultation rooms for physician-patient meetings, examination rooms equipped for cardiac assessments (such as ECGs), and potentially access to more advanced diagnostic and interventional facilities within the hospital, such as cardiac catheterization labs or imaging services. The overall environment would likely be clinical and focused on providing medical care. However, the negative feedback regarding the emergency room's efficiency and the concerns about aftercare in the neurosurgery department raise questions about the overall patient flow and attention to detail within the hospital, which could indirectly impact the experience of cardiology patients as well.

Similarly, the provided information does not detail the specific cardiology services offered at Woodwinds Hospital or by Dr. Hartung Dennis MD. Typically, a cardiology department in a hospital setting would provide a range of services for diagnosing and treating heart conditions. These might include:

  • Outpatient consultations with cardiologists for various heart-related issues.
  • Non-invasive diagnostic testing, such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
  • Invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty, depending on the hospital's capabilities and the specialties of the cardiologists on staff.
  • Management of acute cardiac events, such as heart attacks, potentially through the hospital's emergency department and cardiac care unit.
  • Treatment and management of chronic heart conditions, such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  • Cardiac rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from cardiac events or procedures.

Without specific information about Dr. Hartung Dennis MD's specialization or the cardiology services available at Woodwinds Hospital, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive list. It is possible that Dr. Hartung is a general cardiologist or has a specific area of focus within cardiology. To understand the precise services offered, it would be necessary to contact the hospital directly and inquire about their cardiology department and Dr. Hartung's practice.

Regarding the features of Woodwinds Hospital's cardiology services or Dr. Hartung Dennis MD's practice, the lack of specific information makes it challenging to highlight any unique aspects. Features that might be relevant for a cardiology practice could include the expertise of the physicians in specific procedures or conditions, the use of advanced technology, a patient-centered approach to care, or specialized programs. The negative reviews concerning other departments within the hospital do not provide any positive features that can be attributed to the cardiology services. Therefore, based solely on the provided information, we cannot identify any specific positive features of seeking cardiac care at Woodwinds Hospital or with Dr. Hartung Dennis MD.

Finally, the provided text does not contain any promotional information related to Woodwinds Hospital's cardiology services or Dr. Hartung Dennis MD. This could include details about specific programs, specialized clinics, or any initiatives aimed at attracting patients seeking cardiac care. In the absence of such information, an objective introduction cannot include any promotional aspects. The existing patient reviews, while not specific to cardiology, raise concerns that might deter potential patients rather than attract them.

In conclusion, for individuals in Woodbury, MN, looking for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Woodwinds Hospital, located at 1925 Woodwinds Dr., is a local facility where Dr. Hartung Dennis MD may practice. However, the provided patient reviews regarding other departments within the hospital raise concerns about aftercare and emergency room efficiency. No specific information is available regarding the environment, services, or features of the cardiology department or Dr. Hartung's practice. To make an informed decision about seeking cardiac care at Woodwinds Hospital or with Dr. Hartung Dennis MD, it is strongly recommended to contact the hospital directly to inquire about their cardiology services, Dr. Hartung's specialization, and to seek additional reviews or information specifically related to their cardiac care.

The neuro surgical team was great, but the after care was terrible. If it hadn’t been for the second nurse coming in I bet we would still be in the recovery room. If you have the option to go to the other facility, where this surgical team operated, I would recommend that.

By far the worst ER I have ever been too! I waited for over an hour and a half just to get two prescriptions. The nurses on staff where just sifting around and talking gossip doing no work. I highly recommend not coming to this emergency room.

Woodwinds Hospital used to be my #1 choice for emergency visits. Some time after April 2023, things seemed to change, beginning with E.R. assessments. I hope grace and blessings continue so they may better serve and help "all" people regardless of status. 🙏🌏🌍🌎🙏✌️🤍❤️🤍

Came in with low oxygen levels and high heart rate. Even on oxygen was still only sitting ar 92 on the spo2. Known allergen was recommended to me, told the doctor I didn't feel comfortable taking it since the last time I went in by ambulance after an allergic reaction to it. Doctor stated that that is the ONLY medication they can give me and if I go into Anafalaxis at least I'm in an ER. I asked to have my discharges written after they clearly do not care about the lives of their patients.
