St Francis Cardiology Associates Introduce

For those in Monroe, Louisiana, seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," St Francis Cardiology Associates, located at 2600 Tower Dr Suite 415, Monroe, LA 71201, USA, offers specialized cardiac care. They can be contacted at (318) 966-2001 or via their mobile number, +1 318-966-2001. Based on the limited information available, which includes a single patient review, we can provide an initial introduction to this clinic.

Regarding the environment of St Francis Cardiology Associates, the provided review offers a glimpse into the waiting area experience. The patient noted a crowded waiting room upon arrival, with "23 people" already waiting. This suggests that the clinic may be quite busy. While the review doesn't describe the overall ambiance or the facilities beyond the waiting room, it implies a potentially high patient volume. Typically, a cardiology practice within a larger medical complex, as indicated by the suite number, would aim to provide a professional and clinical setting, including a reception and waiting area, examination rooms, and possibly areas for non-invasive cardiac testing. However, specific details about the environment at St Francis Cardiology Associates are not available in the provided information.

As a cardiology-focused practice, St Francis Cardiology Associates likely offers a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. These commonly include:

  • Cardiac consultations and evaluations: Assessment of patients presenting with symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or other concerns related to heart health.
  • Diagnostic testing: This may involve the use of various tools such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiography, stress testing (including treadmill or pharmacological stress tests), Holter monitoring, and event recorders. They might also coordinate or refer patients for more advanced diagnostic procedures like cardiac catheterization or cardiac CT/MRI if needed.
  • Management of cardiovascular conditions: Providing medical treatment and ongoing care for conditions such as coronary artery disease (angina, heart attack), heart failure, hypertension (high blood pressure), arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), valvular heart disease, and hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol).
  • Preventive cardiology: Offering advice and strategies on lifestyle modifications, risk factor management, and medication to prevent the onset or progression of heart disease.

Given that they are an "Associates" practice, it is likely that there are multiple cardiologists and potentially other healthcare professionals working at this location, allowing them to serve a broader range of patient needs within the field of cardiology. However, the specific names and specializations of the practitioners are not provided in the current information.

In terms of features, the single patient review highlights a potential issue with appointment scheduling and waiting times. The reviewer arrived early but found a very crowded waiting room and reported waiting for over an hour past their appointment time without being seen. They also mentioned that, during this time, they "assum some drug reps went back," which, if accurate, could contribute to appointment delays. This experience led the patient to leave without being seen, expressing frustration about lost time. Therefore, a notable feature, based on this feedback, might be the potential for significant waiting times, which could be a point of concern for prospective patients.

There is no promotional information available for St Francis Cardiology Associates in the provided text. Therefore, we cannot describe any special offers, new services being advertised, or unique aspects the clinic might be promoting to attract new patients.

For local users in Monroe, LA, who are looking for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," St Francis Cardiology Associates at 2600 Tower Dr Suite 415 is an option to consider. However, the single available patient review raises a significant concern regarding long waiting times and potential scheduling issues. While this is just one person's experience, it is an important piece of feedback to take into account. Prospective patients may want to inquire about typical waiting times and the clinic's scheduling practices when considering this provider.

To gain a more complete understanding of St Francis Cardiology Associates, including the full scope of their services, the qualifications of their medical team, and a broader range of patient experiences, it would be advisable to seek additional reviews or contact the clinic directly. Asking about their approach to appointment scheduling and wait times might be particularly relevant given the feedback received.

In summary, St Francis Cardiology Associates in Monroe, LA, offers cardiac care at 2600 Tower Dr Suite 415. A single patient review indicates a potential issue with long waiting times and appointment delays. Information regarding the full range of services, the clinic's environment beyond a busy waiting room, and any promotional offers is not provided. Local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should consider this feedback and potentially seek further information to make an informed decision about their cardiac care provider.

Arrived early to find 23 people in the waiting room, signed in and sat down. At my appointment time, I am assuming some drug reps went back. I was talking to the other people waiting to be seen and some dad been there over an hour. I had to take PTO ,which meant I was losing money to pay to see the doctor. I left an hour later. Thanks St. Francis for taking an hour of my life in I can't get back .
