Oklahoma Heart Hospital Introduce
For individuals in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it's important to consider the facilities where these doctors operate. One such facility is the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, located at 4050 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73120, USA. They can be reached at (405) 608-3200 or +1 405-608-3200. This introduction aims to provide local users with an overview of the hospital based on publicly available information, including recent patient experiences.
The Oklahoma Heart Hospital is a specialized facility focused on cardiovascular care. Typically, such a hospital environment is designed to cater specifically to patients with heart-related conditions. This often includes state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, specialized cardiac catheterization labs, operating rooms equipped for cardiac surgeries, and dedicated units for post-operative and critical cardiac care. Patients might expect a setting where the focus is entirely on heart and vascular health, potentially leading to a higher level of specialized expertise and resources.
As a dedicated heart hospital, Oklahoma Heart Hospital likely offers a comprehensive range of services related to cardiovascular care. These typically include:
- Emergency care for acute cardiac events, such as heart attacks.
- Diagnostic procedures like angiograms, echocardiograms, and ECGs.
- Interventional cardiology procedures, such as stenting and angioplasty.
- Cardiac surgery, including bypass surgery and valve procedures.
- Electrophysiology services for heart rhythm disorders.
- Cardiac rehabilitation programs.
- Outpatient cardiology clinics and consultations.
To get a complete and up-to-date list of the services provided, contacting the hospital directly is recommended.
While it's important to consider the potential services and specialized environment of a heart hospital, recent patient reviews offer direct insights into the experiences of individuals interacting with Oklahoma Heart Hospital. These reviews present a mixed picture that potential users should be aware of.
One recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction, stating, "I wouldn't go here if I were having a heart attack." This user recounts an experience where their wife went to the ER in May 2024, the bills were paid in July 2024, yet they were still receiving calls from a debt collector. The reviewer mentions multiple "Supervisor Reviews" with the billing office that yielded no resolution, leading them to plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and advising others to "Avoid at all costs." This review raises concerns about the hospital's billing practices and the effectiveness of their customer service in resolving billing issues.
Another recent review describes a contrast between past positive experiences and a concerning recent event. The reviewer's son was taken to the ER via ambulance with chest pains and severe pain. While he was found not to have a heart problem by "Dr. G," he was prescribed morphine and slated for discharge. The parents expressed concern that since it wasn't a heart issue, a referral to Mercy Hospital (noted for its closer proximity and potentially for addressing non-cardiac issues) was requested but allegedly denied by Dr. G, who proceeded with discharge. The parents voiced their concern about the lack of referral and questioned the underlying cause of their son's pain. This review raises questions about the hospital's approach to patients whose primary issue may not be cardiac-related and the coordination of care with other facilities.
Considering these recent reviews, it's challenging to highlight specific positive features or promotional information. The feedback focuses on negative experiences related to billing and emergency room care for non-cardiac issues. These accounts suggest potential challenges in these areas that prospective patients should be aware of when considering Oklahoma Heart Hospital for their cardiac or related needs.
For local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," the Oklahoma Heart Hospital at 4050 W Memorial Rd is a facility specializing in cardiovascular care. While it likely offers a focused environment and a range of cardiac services, recent patient feedback indicates potential issues with billing processes and the handling of emergency cases that may not be strictly cardiac in nature. Individuals considering this hospital should weigh these recent experiences alongside the potential benefits of a specialized cardiac center.
Given the conflicting recent feedback, it is crucial for potential patients to conduct their own research and perhaps seek more recent reviews or directly inquire about billing procedures and emergency care protocols if these are areas of concern. The information provided here is based solely on the two recent customer reviews made available.
In conclusion, Oklahoma Heart Hospital at 4050 W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma City is a dedicated heart hospital that likely provides a range of specialized cardiovascular services. However, recent customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding billing practices and the handling of non-cardiac emergency situations. Local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" and considering this facility should be aware of this feedback and conduct further research to make an informed decision about their healthcare needs.

I wouldn't go here if I were having a heart attack. My wife went to their ER in May 2024, we paid the bills in July 2024, and to this date I am still receiving calls from their debt collector. I've had 6 or 7 "Supervisor Reviews" when I call their billing office and NOTHING is ever done to address my account being with a debt collector. Next stop, Better Business Bureau. Avoid at all costs.
My dad was flown in from Guymon after he had a heart attack and is well on the mend after his bypass surgery. Doctors/ nurses/ techs and all the staff here are amazing. Everything is state of the art. I'll be forever grateful for these saints in scrubs giving my dad a new lease on life. From the bottom of my families heart thank you and God bless.
They took care of me when it was very hard to get in and be treated because my husband had passed In the very same hospital a year ago! Understanding how hard it was to step back to that part of my life!! Leaves me with a feeling of guilt and panic!! But they have been understanding. B. G.
