King G. Yee, MD Introduce

For individuals in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas searching within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform category, Dr. King G. Yee, MD, is a cardiologist practicing at 10590 N Meridian St #200, Indianapolis, IN 46290, USA. As a medical doctor specializing in cardiac care, Dr. Yee likely provides a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart conditions. This introduction aims to offer local users a detailed understanding of what can be gleaned about Dr. Yee's practice from the available patient feedback, presenting an objective view for those seeking a cardiologist in the area.

The office of Dr. King G. Yee is located at the North Meridian Street address, which appears to be within a medical building or complex shared by other healthcare providers, as Emily J. Wandel, PA-C, also practices at the same address and suite number. While specific details about the ambiance, layout, or amenities of Dr. Yee's specific office are not provided in the reviews, it is reasonable to expect a standard medical office environment. This would typically include a waiting area for patients, examination rooms equipped for cardiac assessments, and potentially consultation rooms for discussions about treatment plans and medical history. The shared location might suggest a collaborative environment or a facility housing multiple cardiac specialists or related services.

As a cardiologist, Dr. King G. Yee's services would generally encompass the diagnosis and management of various heart diseases and conditions. This could include treating coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Cardiologists typically conduct physical examinations, order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations. They also develop treatment plans that may involve lifestyle modifications, medication management, interventional procedures (like angioplasty and stenting), or referrals for cardiac surgery when necessary. Given the mention of a post-heart catheterization check-up in one of the reviews, it is evident that Dr. Yee is involved in the follow-up care for patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures.

The features of Dr. Yee's practice, as perceived by patients, present a somewhat mixed picture based on the limited reviews. One reviewer describes Dr. Yee as a "fantastic Heart Doctor!" and notes that he is "very easy to talk about your health issues," indicating good communication skills and an approachable demeanor. This patient also highlights his ability to listen well and his positive personality, suggesting a comfortable and reassuring patient-physician interaction.

However, the second review details a significantly less positive experience during a recent appointment. This patient, who states they have "always loved this facility" in the past, recounts a series of issues leading to a disappointing visit. These issues include a substantial delay in being seen (a 40-minute wait past the scheduled appointment time) despite an apparently empty waiting room. Furthermore, the patient reports a lack of preparedness on Dr. Yee's part, as he seemingly had not reviewed the patient's chart prior to the consultation. This is evidenced by him asking the reason for the visit and appearing unaware that it was a post-heart catheterization check-up and that the patient had undergone a prior CTA. Dr. Yee's inquiry about why the patient didn't return to a different doctor (Dr. Adlam) also suggests a lack of familiarity with the patient's recent care plan. This oversight in reviewing the patient's medical history and the purpose of the visit raises concerns about the level of attention and preparedness for individual appointments.

The discrepancy between the two reviews is notable. The first review paints a picture of a caring and communicative physician, while the second describes a disorganized and seemingly uninformed encounter. It is important to consider that individual experiences can vary, and a single negative experience does not necessarily reflect the overall quality of care provided by Dr. Yee consistently. However, the issues raised in the second review, particularly the lack of chart review and the significant appointment delay, are valid concerns for potential patients.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Dr. King G. Yee, MD, in the provided data. Medical professionals typically build their practice through their reputation and patient referrals. The contrasting reviews provided offer some insight into his perceived strengths (communication and personality) and potential areas for improvement (preparedness and clinic efficiency).

For local users in Indianapolis searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Dr. King G. Yee presents as a cardiologist with some positive interpersonal attributes, according to one patient. However, the detailed account of a disorganized and delayed appointment with a lack of apparent chart review is a significant factor to consider. Potential patients may want to weigh these contrasting experiences and perhaps seek additional reviews or information from other sources to gain a more comprehensive understanding of Dr. Yee's practice.

The location of Dr. Yee's office, shared with other medical professionals, might suggest a collaborative environment or access to a broader range of cardiac-related services within the same facility. However, the internal efficiency and communication within Dr. Yee's individual practice appear to be areas where the experience can vary, as highlighted by the second review. The significant appointment delay also points to potential issues with scheduling or patient flow within the clinic.

Yee, MD, and the services offered at his office on North Meridian Street in Indianapolis, interested individuals can contact his office directly at the provided phone numbers: (317) 338-6666 and +1 317-338-6666. When choosing a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is advisable to consider all available information, including patient reviews, and to perhaps inquire about appointment scheduling and the typical flow of visits when contacting the office. The experience shared by the second patient underscores the importance of a well-organized and attentive practice for a positive patient experience and confidence in the care provided.

I love doctor Yee he is wonderful! However, when I was checking out the person at the desk was reading out loud what bills I owe and the Dr's names and procedures, while another patient was standing there waiting to check out. I feel this was a breach of confidentiality and very unprofessional to be talking about my medical treatment in front of a stranger. At the very least she should be retrained.
