Keesag A. Baron, MD Introduce

For individuals in Springfield, Missouri, seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Keesag A. Baron, MD, whose office is located at 1242 E Independence St #200, Springfield, MO 65804, USA, is a practicing cardiologist in the area. While one patient review suggests Dr. Baron himself may be a "good doctor" based on their estimation, a significant portion of the feedback focuses on negative experiences with the office staff and wait times. Therefore, local users considering Dr. Baron for their cardiovascular needs should be aware of these reported issues as they explore their options for heart care.

Information regarding the specific environment of Dr. Baron's office is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, typical cardiology offices include waiting areas for patients, examination rooms for consultations and assessments, and potentially areas for basic cardiac testing. The reviews do not offer insights into the ambiance or facilities of the clinic itself, but rather focus on interactions with staff and the timeliness of appointments.

As a cardiologist, Keesag A. Baron, MD, likely offers a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. These services commonly include:

  • Cardiac Consultations: Evaluating patients with known or suspected heart conditions, reviewing medical history, and conducting physical examinations.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Ordering and interpreting tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and possibly Holter monitoring to assess heart function.
  • Management of Heart Conditions: Developing treatment plans for conditions like hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, which may involve lifestyle recommendations, medication management, or referrals for more invasive procedures when necessary.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Providing advice on risk factor modification to prevent heart disease.

However, the prominent feature emerging from the provided reviews is the reported negative experiences with the office staff. One patient recounts waiting for an hour and then having a confrontational interaction with a staff member who allegedly refused to refill a prescription and was described as "screaming" as the patient left. This reviewer also mentions a lack of response to subsequent calls and emails, concluding with a strong negative recommendation. Another reviewer details waiting for over 1 hour and 30 minutes past their appointment time, despite submitting paperwork in advance and communicating their time constraints. This patient reported being told that such delays are "common" due to Dr. Baron's busy schedule and ultimately decided to seek a different specialist who values their clients' time more. A third reviewer, while acknowledging Dr. Baron might be a great cardiologist based on research, noted that the front desk scheduling staff gives the office an impression of being unorganized.

These reviews collectively suggest potential challenges with the administrative aspects of Dr. Baron's practice, particularly concerning staff interactions and appointment scheduling. While one reviewer initially liked Dr. Baron and considered him a good doctor, their negative experience with the staff was significant enough to deter them from returning and recommending him.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for Dr. Baron's practice in the provided data. However, the feedback regarding staff and wait times effectively serves as a cautionary note for potential new patients. Local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" may want to consider these reported experiences alongside the possibility of Dr. Baron's medical expertise when making their decision.

Waiting an hour and 30 minutes to not be listened to. Im only 26 and dont want to take pills the rest of my life. I let him and his staff know i wanted an ablation like my mom did and they refused because they claimed they don't work. I let them know i wouldnt be coming back and a few weeks later i get a certified letter saying im fired from the clinic. Pathetic. Do not waste your time unless you're ok with taking pills the rest of your life and waiting 2 hours for visit.
