Dr. Jordan Hopkins' practice is situated in a professional setting at the provided address. Based on the information gathered, Dr. Hopkins offers services within the broad spectrum of cardiology, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. One patient review highlights Dr. Hopkins' "approach to cardiac care," suggesting a comprehensive and thoughtful methodology in addressing heart-related concerns. As a cardiologist, Dr. Hopkins would likely provide a range of services, including:
- Diagnostic Testing: This could involve procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and potentially more advanced cardiac imaging techniques to assess heart function and identify any abnormalities.
- Preventive Cardiology: This focuses on identifying risk factors for heart disease and implementing strategies to prevent their development or progression. This may include lifestyle counseling on diet and exercise, as well as managing conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
- Management of Existing Heart Conditions: Dr. Hopkins likely manages a variety of cardiovascular conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), and valvular heart disease. This may involve medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with other specialists if more invasive procedures are necessary.
- Patient Well-being Focus: One patient specifically mentioned appreciating Dr. Hopkins' focus on their "well-being," indicating a patient-centered approach that considers the overall health and comfort of the individual.
It is important to note a piece of feedback from one reviewer regarding insurance coverage. This review mentions difficulties in communication and a discrepancy between the website's information and the office's stated acceptance of certain Florida Blue insurance plans. The reviewer suggests the issue might be related to payment speed rather than the insurance company's obligation to pay under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This feedback, while representing a single patient's experience, underscores the importance of verifying insurance coverage directly with the doctor's office prior to scheduling an appointment to avoid any potential misunderstandings or financial concerns. It is always recommended to inquire about accepted insurance plans and billing procedures when contacting a new healthcare provider.
On a more positive note, another patient with five years of experience under Dr. Hopkins' care describes him as "one of the best" cardiologists they have seen. This individual specifically appreciates Dr. Hopkins' approach to cardiac care and his focus on their well-being. This positive long-term experience suggests a high level of patient satisfaction with the quality of care provided by Dr. Hopkins.
Considering these points, Dr. Jordan Hopkins appears to be an experienced cardiologist practicing in Sarasota, Florida. He is praised by at least one long-term patient for his approach to cardiac care and his attention to patient well-being. However, it is crucial for prospective patients to be diligent in verifying their insurance coverage directly with the office staff due to the aforementioned feedback regarding insurance discrepancies. By contacting the office at the provided phone numbers, local users can gather more specific information about the services offered, the clinic environment, appointment availability, and insurance policies. This direct communication will ensure a smooth and informed healthcare experience when seeking cardiac care from Dr. Jordan Hopkins.

His experience and patient-focused approach, as highlighted in one of the reviews, could be valuable assets in managing your cardiovascular health. Very hard to talk. And claim they take some FL BLUE. On website no difference. But then when you call they say they don't take some FL Blue due to not getting " PAID " well. That's not true The insurance company is under the ACA and required to pay. The real problem is most likely not paid " Fast enough" or due to in house Billing.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hopkins for the past five years. Having seen many other cardiologists I can safely say that Dr. Hopkins is one of the best. I appreciate his approach to cardiac care and especially my well-being.
This man destroys people’s lives! He cares about money only and not people! Tells them they will die before this or that happens and then he makes comments like you’re taking my time up from my next patient. He is a jerk!
