Jefferson Health – Smylie Times Introduce

For individuals residing in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding communities seeking comprehensive cardiac care, the platform category "Heart Doctor Near Me" is pleased to introduce Jefferson Health – Smylie Times. Located at 2607 Rhawn St #403, Philadelphia, PA 19152, USA, this facility is part of the renowned Jefferson Health network, suggesting a commitment to high-quality medical services. Patients can contact Jefferson Health – Smylie Times at (215) 676-8300 or via mobile phone at +1 215-676-8300 to inquire about appointments and their cardiac health needs.

Based on the available feedback from real patients, Jefferson Health – Smylie Times is recognized for its "wonderful doctors and staff." This positive sentiment underscores the dedication and professionalism of the healthcare providers and support personnel at this location. Patients can likely expect to be treated by skilled and caring individuals who are committed to providing quality medical care. The positive remarks about the doctors and staff suggest a patient-focused environment where individuals feel well-supported throughout their healthcare journey.

However, one recurring concern mentioned by a patient is the presence of wait times. While acknowledging the excellence of the doctors and staff, this patient notes that there is "always a wait." This is a factor that prospective patients may want to consider when scheduling appointments. It is not uncommon for medical facilities, especially those with highly regarded professionals, to experience some wait times due to the complexities of patient care and scheduling.

Interestingly, a significant portion of one patient's feedback focuses on the choice of television programming in the waiting area. This patient expresses strong dissatisfaction with the selection, specifically mentioning a "far left conservative hating show like the View" and stating that it makes them "want to wait outside." They suggest opting for more neutral options like the Game Show Network and note observing other patients becoming upset by the perceived political bias in the programming. While seemingly a minor detail, the comfort and atmosphere of the waiting area can impact the overall patient experience. This feedback suggests that the administration might consider the diverse viewpoints of their patient population when selecting entertainment for the common areas.

Despite the concerns about wait times and television programming, another patient shared a positive experience specifically with "Dr. Antolik," who appears to offer dermatological treatments at this location. This patient describes Dr. Antolik and her staff as "very kind and courteous" and notes that every appointment has been a "very comfortable experience." The patient also highlights Dr. Antolik's proactive approach to treatment, mentioning a discussion about a different type of treatment that might yield better results for age spots and dry patches. This positive interaction suggests that the quality of medical care and the patient-physician relationship remain strong at Jefferson Health – Smylie Times.

While the primary focus of this introduction is on cardiac care due to the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform category, the presence of other specialties, as indicated by the review mentioning dermatological services, suggests that Jefferson Health – Smylie Times may offer a range of medical services beyond cardiology. To understand the specific cardiac services available, prospective patients should contact the facility directly.

Given that Jefferson Health is a comprehensive healthcare system, the cardiac services offered at Jefferson Health – Smylie Times likely include a range of diagnostic, treatment, and management options for various heart conditions. These may encompass:

  • Diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac imaging.
  • Management of common cardiac conditions including hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Preventive cardiology services focused on risk assessment and lifestyle modifications.
  • Potentially more specialized services such as interventional cardiology procedures, electrophysiology studies, and cardiac rehabilitation, depending on the specific cardiologists affiliated with this location and the broader Jefferson Health network.

As part of a larger health system, patients may also benefit from access to a wider network of specialists and advanced medical technologies when needed.

In terms of features, the affiliation with Jefferson Health itself is a significant advantage, indicating a commitment to quality and a certain standard of care. The positive feedback regarding the "wonderful doctors and staff" highlights the human element of care, suggesting a team that is both skilled and compassionate. However, prospective patients should be aware of the potential for wait times, as mentioned in one review. The diverse range of services potentially available through the Jefferson Health network could also be a significant feature for patients with multiple healthcare needs.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in learning about any special programs, new patient incentives, or specific cardiac services offered at Jefferson Health – Smylie Times should contact their office directly at (215) 676-8300.

In conclusion, Jefferson Health – Smylie Times in Philadelphia, PA, offers the expertise of "wonderful doctors and staff" within the well-regarded Jefferson Health system. While patients should be prepared for potential wait times and the television programming in the waiting area may not appeal to everyone, the quality of medical care, as indicated by the positive experiences with both medical and dermatological services, appears to be high. For those in Northeast Philadelphia seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," contacting Jefferson Health – Smylie Times at (215) 676-8300 is a recommended step to explore their cardiac care options within a trusted healthcare network.

Doctors and staff are wonderful but always a wait. The choice for TV stations make me want to wait outside. Why the have a far left conservative hating show like the View on is beyond me. Why can't they put on something neutral like the game show network? I see other patitens getting upset when they have to listen to conservatives being trashed.

Today I had another visit with Dr. Antolik as she’s freezing these age spots and dry patches. Dr asked if I’d like to have her perform a different type of treatment that I may see better results. She told me to think about it and get back to her. So that’s what I’ll do. This Dr Antolic and her staff are very kind and courteous. Every time I have had an appointment, it’s been a very comfortable experience. 👍🏿👍🏿up!!
