Intermountain Health Park City Hospital Introduce

For residents and visitors in Park City, Utah, looking for healthcare services, including potential cardiac care under the search of "Heart Doctor Near Me" (though this facility is a general hospital), Intermountain Health Park City Hospital, located at 900 Round Valley Dr, Park City, UT 84060, is a local option. They can be reached at (435) 658-7000 or their mobile number, +1 435-658-7000.

As a platform connecting local users with healthcare facilities, even if the primary search is for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it's important to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of Intermountain Health Park City Hospital, considering its environment, services that might include cardiology, and feedback from patient reviews.

Intermountain Health Park City Hospital is a general hospital, and its environment is designed to cater to a wide range of medical needs. You can expect a facility with various departments, including surgical units, emergency services, and potentially specialized clinics that could include cardiology. While specific details about the ambiance of potential cardiac-focused areas are not available, hospitals generally aim to provide a clean, professional, and healing environment for all patients. The positive review regarding orthopedic surgery highlights a comfortable and caring atmosphere within the surgical and post-operative units.

As a full-service hospital, Intermountain Health Park City Hospital likely offers a broad spectrum of medical services. While the reviews provided focus on orthopedic surgery and emergency room care, a hospital of this nature typically includes internal medicine, radiology, laboratory services, and often various specialties such as cardiology. These cardiac services might include diagnostic procedures, treatment for heart conditions, and consultations with cardiologists, potentially making it a relevant resource for those searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me." To confirm the specific cardiac services available, it is recommended to contact the hospital directly.

Features of Intermountain Health Park City Hospital, based on the reviews, include a highly competent and caring medical staff. The positive surgical experience highlights several key features: incredibly kind pre-op nurses, straightforward and reassuring anesthesiologists, sweet and supportive OR nurses, attentive PACU nurses focused on patient comfort, and kind discharge nurses ensuring clear understanding of instructions. The seamless coordination and positive interactions among the different teams involved in the surgical process are also noteworthy features. The hospital seems to foster a supportive environment among its staff, which translates to better patient care. Additionally, the prompt and thorough communication of test results, as mentioned in the orthopedic surgery review, is a positive feature.

However, one review presents a significant concern for veterans seeking emergency care. This veteran from Michigan, who sustained a back injury while visiting Park City, reported outstanding medical care in the ER. The issue arose with billing. Despite the VA authorizing the visit and providing an authorization number, the veteran received a bill from the hospital, followed by persistent calls from a collections agency, even after providing the billing department and the collection agency with the VA authorization information. This indicates a severe problem with the hospital's billing process when dealing with VA claims, leading to considerable frustration and financial distress for the veteran. The stark warning, "If you are a Veteran DO NOT GO TO THIS ER!!", is a critical piece of information for this specific user group.

The positive surgical experience can be considered promotional in nature, showcasing the high level of patient care, the kindness and competence of the staff, and the efficient post-operative recovery. The reviewer explicitly stated it was "one of the best experiences I’ve had with Intermountain for a surgery!" and praised the team for exemplifying the "care" in healthcare. This positive narrative can attract patients seeking orthopedic or potentially other surgical procedures, including cardiac surgeries if offered. However, the negative billing experience for the veteran serves as a counterpoint, indicating a significant administrative issue that could deter veterans from seeking care at this facility, particularly in the emergency room.

In conclusion, Intermountain Health Park City Hospital appears to offer excellent patient care, particularly in areas like orthopedic surgery, with a kind, professional, and well-coordinated medical team. However, there are serious concerns regarding their billing processes, specifically with VA claims in the emergency room, which have led to a very negative experience for at least one veteran. If you are a local user looking for a hospital that might offer cardiac care ("Heart Doctor Near Me"), Intermountain Health Park City Hospital demonstrates a capacity for high-quality medical care. However, if you are a veteran, the reported billing issues with the ER are critical to consider. It would be advisable to inquire about their cardiac services and billing procedures, especially if you have VA insurance, before making a decision. The hospital seems to excel in patient care but needs to address the billing discrepancies reported by the veteran.

My hospital experience could not have gone better. Every nurse and Dr showed a great deal of care, kept me informed and comfortable. Only 5 stars fits here!

The best hospital experience I've ever had. My family was visiting Park City for a ski trip and I ended up dislocating my elbow a day and a half into the trip. I was taken to the hospital and had the best medical care from Dr. Madsen and Nurse Josh. My nurse even played Adele when I woke up after being put to sleep so they could pop my elbow back in. Highly recommend!

Great experience at Intermountain Hospital. The professionalism, service, care were excellent (not to say colonoscopy prep was any fun but necessary). Would highly recommend to other patients
