When considering a healthcare provider, especially a specialist like a cardiologist, it is essential to gather information from various sources to make an informed decision. Online reviews can offer insights into the experiences of other patients, providing a glimpse into the doctor's practice, communication style, and the overall patient experience. It is important to approach these reviews with a balanced perspective, recognizing that individual experiences can vary.

The provided reviews for Dr. Crum present a stark contrast in patient experiences. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction, detailing a negative experience following the placement of three stents in the patient's father. The reviewer alleges rudeness towards the patient post-procedure, a complete lack of follow-up care, and claims of untruthfulness regarding communication with the patient's mother. This reviewer strongly recommends against seeking Dr. Crum's care, citing a perceived lack of competence and humanity.

Conversely, the second review offers a positive perspective. The patient was referred to Dr. Crum after experiencing a heart attack in Dothan. This reviewer describes Dr. Crum as "very patient" and "very thorough" in explaining the patient's condition and the expected course of treatment. The reviewer also commends the staff as being "nice" and expresses satisfaction with the care their husband is receiving.

These contrasting accounts highlight the subjective nature of patient experiences and the importance of considering multiple perspectives when evaluating a healthcare provider. Factors such as individual expectations, communication styles, and the specific circumstances of a medical situation can influence a patient's perception of their care.

Based on the limited information, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of all the services offered by Dr. Crum. However, as a cardiologist, his expertise would generally encompass the following areas:

  • Diagnosis of Heart Conditions: This involves using various diagnostic tools and techniques to identify a wide range of heart problems, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.

My husband was recommended to him from the Dr in Dothan where he was taken when he had a Heart Attack in February. When we first met Dr. Crum he was very patient with us and very thorough in explaining what he had gone through and what was to be expected going forward. Also the staff were nice as well. I like the way he's taking care of my husband.
