Colorado Heart and Vascular PC Introduce
For individuals in Longmont, Colorado, seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Colorado Heart and Vascular PC is located at 2030 Mountain View Ave #220. This clinic aims to provide cardiac and vascular services to the local community. While the initial information does not detail the history or the full team of physicians at this practice, its presence in Longmont indicates a local option for those seeking cardiovascular care.
The physical environment of Colorado Heart and Vascular PC, situated in a suite within a medical building, likely offers a standard clinical setting. Patients can generally expect a waiting area, examination rooms, and potentially on-site facilities for certain diagnostic tests. The focus of a cardiology and vascular clinic is typically on providing the necessary medical equipment and a comfortable space for patient consultations and basic procedures.
Based on the limited information and the provided patient reviews, it is challenging to give a comprehensive overview of all the services offered at Colorado Heart and Vascular PC. However, drawing inferences from the name and the context of seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," we can anticipate that the clinic likely provides services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. These services commonly include:
- Cardiology Consultations: Evaluation of patients with symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, or shortness of breath, as well as those with known heart conditions or risk factors.
- Vascular Consultations: Assessment of patients with conditions affecting blood vessels, such as peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, or carotid artery disease.
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG): A standard test to measure the electrical activity of the heart.
- Echocardiography: Ultrasound imaging of the heart to assess its structure and function.
- Stress Testing: To evaluate the heart's response to exercise or medication, looking for signs of ischemia or other abnormalities.
- Vascular Ultrasound: Imaging to assess blood flow and identify blockages or other issues in arteries and veins.
- Holter and Event Monitoring: Extended monitoring of heart rhythm for patients with suspected arrhythmias.
- Management of Cardiovascular Conditions: Including but not limited to hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
However, it is crucial to consider the significant concerns raised in the patient reviews, which paint a concerning picture of the patient experience at this clinic.
One detailed review recounts a highly negative interaction with a Dr. Murphy. The patient describes feeling dismissed and that their concerns were not taken seriously due to their age. The review alleges a lack of chart review by the physician prior to the consultation, leading to a misunderstanding of the patient's medical history, including a critical detail about having only one working kidney. Furthermore, the review describes an inaccurate finding of a "liver mass" on an echocardiogram, which was later revealed to be the patient's non-functioning kidney, highlighting a significant diagnostic error and the associated financial burden for the patient.
This detailed and critical review raises serious questions about the thoroughness of patient care, the level of preparation by the physician, and the accuracy of diagnostic interpretations at Colorado Heart and Vascular PC. The language used in the review expresses profound dissatisfaction and a lack of confidence in the physician's abilities.
A second review focuses on the administrative challenges encountered when trying to schedule a cardiovascular stress test for the patient's father. This review describes the scheduling process and basic communication with the clinic as being "one of the 'WORST' clinics in US to work with," citing the difficulty in navigating the appointment process.
These reviews, while limited in number, present significant concerns regarding both the clinical interactions and the administrative efficiency of Colorado Heart and Vascular PC. For local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," these firsthand accounts should be carefully considered as part of their decision-making process.
Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available patient feedback, it is challenging to identify positive "features" of this clinic based solely on this information. The reviews highlight potential issues with physician preparedness, diagnostic accuracy, and administrative processes.
Similarly, in the absence of any positive information or official statements from the clinic, it is impossible to discuss any promotional information. The focus of the available feedback is on negative experiences rather than any potential benefits or promotions offered by Colorado Heart and Vascular PC.
For local users in Longmont searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is strongly recommended to seek additional information and consider these patient reviews carefully. Exploring other cardiology and vascular practices in the Longmont area may be advisable to ensure a positive and effective healthcare experience.
In conclusion, the limited information available about Colorado Heart and Vascular PC, coupled with the strongly negative patient reviews concerning both clinical care and administrative processes, presents a concerning picture. While the clinic is located in Longmont and purports to offer cardiac and vascular services, the feedback regarding a specific physician and the scheduling department raises significant red flags. Local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should exercise caution and seek further information from multiple sources before considering this clinic for their cardiovascular healthcare needs. Contacting the clinic directly at (303) 515-4651 may provide an opportunity to understand their perspective or any changes they may have implemented, but the existing patient feedback warrants careful consideration.

My dad had to go through hoops to just schedule a cardio vascular stress test. Service in scheduling an appointment and basic communication with patients has to be one of the ‘ WORST ‘ clinics in US to work with.
Dr Rudersdorf saved my life. I had an aortic dissection and was dead for 36 minutes. His team was able to help bring me back on more than 1 occasion and I have nothing but respect for him and his team. The people complaining on here had issues with staffing (who doesn't these days) and not the doctors. I care less about the people behind the desk and more about the people behind the knife!

Do not do business with this office. My wife & I have had nothing but miscommunication from here & they do not hold themselves accountable for anything. They claim they were trying to call my wife to reschedule an appointment and yet, after realizing that they have the right phone number, they have not called. We instead got a letter in the mail THE DAY BEFORE HER APPOINTMENT. Stay away from here at all “cost”.
