Children's Heart Center of El Paso Introduce
For families in El Paso, Texas, and the surrounding region seeking specialized "Heart Doctor Near Me" services for their children, the Children's Heart Center of El Paso, located at 7910 Gtwy Blvd E #100, El Paso, TX 79915, USA, offers dedicated pediatric cardiac care. This center focuses on the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents with heart conditions. Understanding the environment of the clinic, the services provided, the features of the care offered, and the experiences shared by other parents is crucial when choosing a heart doctor for your child.
The Children's Heart Center of El Paso is situated at 7910 Gateway Boulevard East, Suite 100, in El Paso, Texas. This location within a medical office building provides a dedicated space for pediatric cardiology services. While specific details about the clinic's interior design and ambiance are not extensively available online, one might expect a child-friendly environment designed to make young patients and their families feel as comfortable as possible during medical visits. Pediatric medical offices often incorporate elements that appeal to children, such as colorful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. However, one patient review noted concerns about the cleanliness of the office, mentioning it being "dirty and dusty" and the EKG equipment being "filthy." This is a point that prospective patients may want to consider and potentially inquire about. For appointments and inquiries, the center can be reached at (915) 629-9725.
As a specialized pediatric heart center, the Children's Heart Center of El Paso likely offers a comprehensive range of services focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. These services typically include:
- Pediatric Cardiology Consultations: Thorough evaluations for children with suspected or known heart problems, including congenital heart defects, acquired heart diseases, and other cardiac conditions.
- Non-invasive Cardiac Testing: Providing or coordinating access to essential diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms (ultrasounds of the heart), Holter and event monitors to assess heart rhythm, and exercise stress tests when appropriate for the child's age and condition. The review mentioning "filthy" EKG equipment raises a concern about the hygiene of these essential tools.
- Management of Congenital Heart Defects: Diagnosis and medical management of heart defects present at birth.
- Management of Acquired Heart Diseases: Treatment for heart conditions that develop after birth, such as Kawasaki disease, rheumatic fever, and myocarditis.
- Arrhythmia Management: Diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders in children.
- Fetal Cardiology Consultations: Possibly offering consultations for expectant mothers whose unborn child has been diagnosed with a heart condition.
- Coordination of Care for Interventional Procedures and Surgeries: Working closely with pediatric cardiac catheterization labs and cardiac surgeons when more complex interventions are required.
- Follow-up Care: Ongoing monitoring and management for children with chronic heart conditions to ensure their health and development.
- Parent and Family Education: Providing families with the information and support needed to understand their child's heart condition and care plan.
The positive review mentioning the doctor's care suggests a focus on the medical needs of the young patients.

- Child-Friendly Environment (Potentially): While one review raised concerns about cleanliness, pediatric offices typically aim to create a welcoming and less intimidating environment for children.
- Focus on Family-Centered Care: Recognizing the integral role of parents and families in a child's health journey, the center likely involves families in the care process and provides necessary education and support.
- Coordination with Other Pediatric Specialists: Depending on the child's condition, the center may collaborate with other pediatric specialists to provide comprehensive care.
- Knowledge of Congenital and Acquired Heart Conditions: Expertise in the wide range of heart problems that can affect children, from birth through adolescence.
- Dedicated and (Generally) Helpful Staff: One positive review mentioned that "his staff is always on point." However, another review presented a starkly contrasting view of some staff members as "completely rude and just plan lazy," specifically citing an issue with mask policies and communication. This inconsistency in staff experience is a significant point to consider.
The divergent reviews regarding the staff highlight a potential area of concern for the center's overall patient experience, despite the positive remarks about the doctor's care.
The provided information does not include any specific promotional offers for the Children's Heart Center of El Paso. Pediatric medical services are generally sought based on need and referrals rather than promotional campaigns.
The patient reviews offer a mixed perspective:
- Positive Doctor Care: One reviewer stated, "Love the care this dr offers," indicating satisfaction with the medical expertise and treatment provided by the physician.
- Positive Staff Experience (Contrasting): The same reviewer also noted that "his staff is always on point."
- Negative Staff Experience: Another reviewer gave the doctor 5 stars but had a very negative experience with some staff members, describing them as "completely rude and just plan lazy." This review specifically mentioned an unpleasant interaction regarding masks and the reviewer's daughter.
- Concerns about Cleanliness: The same negative staff review also pointed out that "The office is dirty and dusty! The ekg equipment is filthy!" This is a serious concern for any healthcare facility.
- Negative Patient Behavior Mentioned: One reviewer commented on the challenging behavior of some other patients, which is outside the control of the clinic but could potentially affect the overall atmosphere in the waiting area.
These reviews present a complex picture. While the doctor's care is praised, there are significant concerns raised about the rudeness and laziness of some staff members and the cleanliness of the office and equipment. Prospective patients should weigh these factors when considering this center.

Love the care this dr offers and his staff is always on point now some of the patients they are some kind of work. They think they’re entitled to everything. Complaining about how they should be given everything from a mask to being 20 minutes late and still demanding to be seen. I have never been to a doctors office where the patients are this rude
I gave the Doctor 5 stars. But as for the staff. They are completely rude and just plan lazy. I thank God i was calm the way she spoke to my daughter about a mask! If the office wants us to wear a mask..then they should provide them. Not many people sell them anymore! !The officec is dirty and dusty! The ekg equipment is filthy! I will be letting the Doctor know they are giving his office a bad rep

She always takes her time with us and really listens to our concerns. We’ve have a great experience here and hopefully you do too!

The wait time is horrible. I waited for 30 minutes after appointment time for them to even check my child’s vitals! And it’s already almost an hour after checking the vitals that the doctor hasn’t shown up!
