Cardiovascular Center Introduce

For residents of Deltona, Florida, and the surrounding communities seeking a local "Heart Doctor Near Me," the Cardiovascular Center is located at 1565 Saxon Blvd # 201, Deltona, FL 32725, USA. They can be reached at (386) 532-1232, or via their mobile phone at +1 386-532-1232. As a "Cardiovascular Center," this practice likely encompasses a team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals dedicated to providing a wide range of services related to heart and vascular health.

While specific details about the environment of the Cardiovascular Center's office suite are not provided online, a medical center focused on cardiovascular care typically aims to create a professional and comfortable atmosphere for patients. This generally includes a reception and waiting area for patients and their families, private consultation rooms where patients can discuss their medical history and concerns with their cardiologist, and examination rooms equipped for basic cardiac assessments. Given the mention of a stent procedure performed at a hospital, the Cardiovascular Center likely has strong affiliations with local hospitals where more invasive procedures and inpatient care are provided.

As a comprehensive Cardiovascular Center, the services offered likely cover a broad spectrum of cardiac care, including:

  • Clinical Cardiology Consultations: Thorough evaluations for patients experiencing various cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, or swelling. These consultations involve a detailed review of medical history, a physical examination, and discussions about potential diagnostic tests and treatment options.
  • Diagnostic Testing: A crucial aspect of cardiovascular care involves utilizing various tests to assess heart function and identify potential problems. These may include:
    • Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG): A standard test that records the electrical activity of the heart.
    • Echocardiogram: An ultrasound of the heart providing images of its structure and function.
    • Stress Testing: Monitoring the heart's performance during exercise or with medication to detect abnormalities.
    • Holter and Event Monitoring: Continuous or intermittent recording of the heart's electrical activity over a period to identify irregular heart rhythms.
    • Vascular Ultrasound: Assessing the health of blood vessels.
    • Potentially, arrangements for more advanced imaging such as cardiac CT or MRI scans at affiliated facilities.
  • Interventional Cardiology Procedures: The positive review mentions a patient receiving a stent during a hospital stay, performed by Doctor Lopez. Stenting is a common interventional procedure to open blocked coronary arteries. This suggests that the cardiologists at the Cardiovascular Center, including Dr. Lopez, are likely skilled in performing procedures such as coronary angiography (to visualize the heart's blood vessels) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), which includes angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Management of Cardiovascular Conditions: This involves the ongoing medical care and treatment for various heart and vascular diseases, such as:
    • Coronary Artery Disease (angina, myocardial infarction or heart attack)
    • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
    • Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)
    • Heart Failure
    • Arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats like atrial fibrillation)
    • Valvular Heart Disease
    • Peripheral Artery Disease
  • Emergency Cardiac Care: The first review describes a critical situation where the patient had a heart attack and a blood clot during a stent procedure, requiring resuscitation. This highlights the center's ability to handle acute cardiac events, likely through their affiliations with local hospitals and the expertise of their team.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Focusing on identifying and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease through lifestyle recommendations, medication management, and patient education to prevent the onset or progression of heart problems.

Features of the Cardiovascular Center likely include:

  • Team-Based Approach: The positive review mentions "Doctor Lopez and the entire team," suggesting a collaborative environment where multiple healthcare professionals work together to provide patient care.
  • Experienced Physicians: The successful management of a critical cardiac event, as described in the first review, points to the experience and expertise of the cardiologists at the center, particularly Doctor Lopez.
  • Patient-Centered Care: The positive review also emphasizes that "They listen to the patients," indicating a commitment to understanding patient concerns and providing personalized care.
  • Potential for Comprehensive Services: As a "Cardiovascular Center," they are likely equipped to handle a wide range of cardiac needs, from routine check-ups to complex interventional procedures and emergency care (through hospital affiliations).

The provided customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the Cardiovascular Center. The first review is overwhelmingly positive, describing a life-saving experience and praising Doctor Lopez and the entire team for their expertise, responsiveness during a critical event, and patient-centered approach ("They listen to the patients"). This review serves as a powerful testimonial, highlighting the potential for exceptional care at the center, particularly in emergency situations and complex procedures.

However, the second review presents a significantly negative experience, focusing on the front desk staff. The reviewer describes them as "rude" and "unorganized," citing an instance of being asked to come in early for an appointment only to face a 30-minute wait. The reviewer expresses frustration with this lack of punctuality and unprofessionalism, stating they will not return to the center. This negative feedback raises concerns about the administrative and customer service aspects of the practice.

For local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" in Deltona, FL, the Cardiovascular Center presents a complex picture based on these two reviews. On one hand, there is evidence of potentially life-saving, expert cardiac care provided by physicians like Doctor Lopez, along with a team that listens to patients. This suggests strong clinical capabilities. On the other hand, there are concerns raised about the professionalism and organization of the front desk staff, which can significantly impact the overall patient experience.

Prospective patients should consider both of these viewpoints. The positive review highlights the critical care and patient-focused approach of the medical team, which is paramount in cardiac care. However, the negative review regarding the front desk experience should also be noted, as efficient and courteous administrative staff are important for a positive overall healthcare journey. Individuals may want to inquire about appointment scheduling and office communication when contacting the center.

In conclusion, the Cardiovascular Center in Deltona, FL, located at 1565 Saxon Blvd # 201 and reachable at (386) 532-1232, appears to be a facility capable of providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, including potentially life-saving interventions. The positive patient testimonial regarding Doctor Lopez and the team's expertise and patient focus is a significant strength. However, the negative feedback concerning the front desk staff suggests a potential area for improvement in terms of administrative efficiency and customer service. Local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should weigh these contrasting experiences when considering the Cardiovascular Center for their cardiac care needs and may want to gather more information or consider their priorities regarding clinical care versus administrative experience.

If I could give them a zero, I would have! Front desk is rude! They are unorganized, at best! Asked me to come in early for my appointment, I show up when they asked ONLY to be told that there’s a 30 minute wait! Why ask me to come in early? If I showed up 30 minutes late that would refuse service! I won’t be coming back here!!

I have seen Dr Lopez twice. Very happy with him. However I am currently on hold for 22.06 minutes trying to get thru to the office. Yesterday it was 16 minutes. That to me is totally unacceptable for a doctors office. I worked in doctors offices for 30 years and if I left a patient on hold for that long I would be terminated on the spot.

Dr Vallerio is great....spends quality time explaining test results, etc. Doctors that spend what they feel is needed time with each patient to answer questions and insure they understand what the results are should be praised. Each patient’s ability to understand is different....some may take 15 minutes, some much longer. Quit complaining about waiting......take a book, relax, and know you have a doctor that is not going to short change you in order to not keep another person waiting.
