Cardiac Surgery Institute Introduce
If you are searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" specializing in cardiac surgery, the Cardiac Surgery Institute, located at 22250 Providence Dr #204, Southfield, MI 48075, USA, is a facility that warrants consideration. This institute focuses on providing surgical interventions for various heart conditions to patients in Southfield and the surrounding communities.
Information regarding the specific environment of the Cardiac Surgery Institute within its suite at Providence Drive is limited. However, medical offices in professional buildings typically strive to create a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere for patients. One might expect a reception area for check-in and waiting, private consultation rooms for discussions with surgeons, and potentially examination rooms for pre-operative assessments. The overall ambiance is likely to be professional and focused on patient care. As the institute is located within a larger medical complex, it likely benefits from the infrastructure and accessibility of the building.
The single available review offers a critical perspective, but it does not directly comment on the medical expertise of the doctors at the Cardiac Surgery Institute. The review focuses on the alleged unprofessional behavior of the "office manager," Kenna. While this feedback is concerning and highlights potential issues with the administrative aspects of the practice and interpersonal interactions, it does not provide insight into the skills or quality of care provided by the cardiac surgeons themselves. It is important for prospective patients to consider this feedback alongside other potential sources of information when evaluating the institute.
Given its name, the Cardiac Surgery Institute's primary focus is on providing a range of surgical procedures to treat heart conditions. These services likely include:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG): Surgical revascularization of the heart muscle by bypassing blocked coronary arteries.
- Heart Valve Repair and Replacement: Surgical correction or replacement of malfunctioning heart valves.
- Aortic Surgery: Surgical treatment for diseases affecting the aorta, such as aneurysms and dissections.
- Surgery for Atrial Fibrillation: Procedures like the Maze procedure to correct irregular heart rhythms.
- Pericardial Surgery: Surgical treatment for conditions affecting the sac surrounding the heart.
- Adult Congenital Heart Surgery: Surgical repair of heart defects present since birth in adult patients.
- Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery: Utilizing smaller incisions and specialized techniques for certain procedures.
- Re-operative Cardiac Surgery: Performing repeat heart surgeries when necessary.
The features of the Cardiac Surgery Institute likely include:
- Specialized Cardiac Surgeons: Physicians with focused expertise in performing surgical procedures on the heart.
- Professional Office Setting: A medical office environment designed for patient consultations and pre-operative care.
- Potential Affiliations: The institute may have affiliations with local hospitals for the actual surgical procedures, leveraging their advanced facilities.
- Focus on Surgical Solutions: A practice dedicated to addressing heart conditions through surgical interventions.
- Outpatient Consultations: Providing consultations and follow-up appointments in their office location.
Due to the limited information available online, including the absence of direct positive or negative feedback regarding the surgeons and the lack of any promotional material, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the Cardiac Surgery Institute's features and any potential promotional activities. It is common for medical practices to engage in some form of outreach, such as:
- Website or Online Presence: Providing information about their services, surgeons' credentials, and contact details.
- Referral Networks: Collaborating with local cardiologists and primary care physicians.
- Educational Materials: Offering brochures or information sheets about common cardiac conditions and surgical procedures.
- Participation in Health Events: Potentially participating in local health fairs or community events.
However, without explicit information, these remain possibilities rather than confirmed promotional activities of the Cardiac Surgery Institute.
The negative review concerning the office manager raises important considerations about the administrative and interpersonal aspects of the practice. While the reviewer did not comment on the medical skills of the doctors, a negative experience with the administrative staff can impact a patient's overall perception and comfort level. It is advisable for the institute to address such feedback to ensure a positive experience for all patients, from initial contact through ongoing care.
For individuals considering the Cardiac Surgery Institute for their cardiac surgical needs, it is recommended to seek additional information from various sources. This could include:
- Contacting the Institute Directly: Calling (248) 443-1281 or +1 248-443-1281 to inquire about their services, surgeons' qualifications, and appointment procedures.
- Checking Online Reviews on Other Platforms: Exploring other websites that may host patient reviews for this practice.
- Consulting with Your Cardiologist: Seeking a referral and your cardiologist's opinion on the Cardiac Surgery Institute.
- Verifying Surgeon Credentials: Checking the board certifications and professional affiliations of the surgeons.
- Inquiring About Hospital Affiliations: Understanding where the surgical procedures are performed and the reputation of those facilities.
In conclusion, the Cardiac Surgery Institute in Southfield, Michigan, focuses on providing cardiac surgical services. While a single online review raises concerns about the office management, it does not offer insights into the medical expertise of the surgeons. Prospective patients should conduct thorough research and seek additional information to make an informed decision about their cardiac surgical care. Contacting the institute directly and consulting with referring physicians are crucial steps in this process.

I don’t know about the doctors at this practice but I can tell you their “office manager” Kenna is wildly unprofessional, rude, condescending, Irrational amongst other things. From one doctors office to another corrective action should be taken if this is who you have chosen to represent your practice. If she treats the staff the way she treats staff at other facilities it is only a matter of time before an employee files charges against her for bullying or targeting.
