One review expresses a highly positive experience, describing Dr. Hashimi as "very friendly and professional." This patient specifically appreciated that Dr. Hashimi "explained the procedure" thoroughly and allowed their husband to make an informed decision about surgery, indicating a patient-centered approach and good communication skills. Based on this positive feedback, Dr. Hashimi appears to be a physician who takes the time to ensure patients and their families understand their medical options and feel comfortable with the proposed treatment plan. The reviewer concludes by highly recommending Dr. Hashimi.

In contrast, the second review details a negative experience specifically related to the office staff. The reviewer states that while Dr. Hashimi "came highly recommended," their attempt to make an appointment was unsuccessful due to issues with the staff. According to this review, after sending requested medical records, the office did not call to schedule an appointment. Subsequent attempts to contact the scheduling department via phone and voicemail also went unanswered for a period of "2-3 weeks." This negative feedback raises concerns about the efficiency and responsiveness of Dr. Hashimi's administrative team. While the reviewer believes Dr. Hashimi himself is likely "terrific," the difficulties encountered with the office staff created a significant barrier to accessing his care.

Given these contrasting reviews, it is important for local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" to consider both aspects. Dr. Hashimi appears to possess positive qualities as a physician, including being friendly, professional, and communicative regarding procedures. However, the reported issues with the office staff's responsiveness in scheduling appointments are a significant factor to consider, as administrative efficiency can greatly impact the overall patient experience.

The office staff will be able to provide the most current information regarding appointments, insurance coverage, and any specific promotions that may be available. In conclusion, for those in the Phoenix, Arizona area looking for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Abdul S. Hashimi, MD, located on W Thomas Rd, is a cardiologist who has been praised for his friendly and professional demeanor, as well as his thorough communication regarding procedures. However, potential patients should be aware of a reported issue concerning the responsiveness of his office staff in scheduling appointments. Dr Hashimi is amazing but his office staff is horrific to work with. No matter the issue or urgency of issue they transfer you to his assistants voicemail where it can take up to 24 hours to get a return call. The office definitely needs a better system of communication.
