Aaron Berger, MD, provides cardiology services. However, patient reviews present extremely serious allegations of medical negligence and patient harm.

One review suggests that there are "fake reviews" on various sites. More importantly, it alleges that Dr. Berger prescribed blood thinners in conjunction with other medications that increased the risk of bleeding, resulting in a patient experiencing a brain hemorrhage. The reviewer claims that the patient and their spouse had expressed concerns about returning to the medication after a previous hemorrhage.

Another review provides a harrowing account of a patient death. The reviewer alleges that Dr. Berger prescribed a blood thinner and aspirin, leading to a hemorrhage. After a brief hospital stay, the patient was taken off the blood thinner, but Dr. Berger allegedly insisted that the patient resume the medication, despite the patient and their spouse expressing concerns. The reviewer claims that the patient subsequently suffered a fatal brain hemorrhage. The reviewer states that Dr. Berger "SHOULD HAVE REVIEWED ALL THE MEDICINE HE WAS ON," and "SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY PARENTS CONCERNS." The reviewer demands that Dr. Berger's license be revoked and accuses him of causing their father's death.

These reviews contain extremely serious allegations of medical negligence, including the claim that Dr. Berger's actions directly resulted in a patient's death. These are not general complaints about bedside manner or wait times; they are accusations of severe medical malpractice. Potential patients should be aware of these allegations and consider them carefully when making healthcare decisions.

The location at 1203 Avenue J suggests a medical office setting in Brooklyn. Patients can expect a standard medical environment for cardiovascular consultations, testing, and related procedures. However, the reviews indicate potential issues with the quality of medical judgment and patient safety.

For individuals considering Aaron Berger, MD, it is strongly recommended to be aware of the extremely serious allegations of medical negligence and patient death. Potential patients should seek independent legal counsel to understand their rights and options. If scheduling an appointment, be prepared to advocate strongly for your healthcare needs and to document all interactions. Direct communication with the office to discuss any concerns is recommended. It is also important to consider that patient safety and sound medical judgment are crucial for effective healthcare.

Clean office. Competent office staff. Reasonable wait. Great service by Physicians assistant and doctor. Both knowledgeable, attentive and responsive. Good hours (they have a late day). Overall felt very cared for and a good experience — as a doctor’s office should provide.
