Vanderbilt Heart Murfreesboro Introduce

For residents of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, seeking specialized cardiac care, Vanderbilt Heart Murfreesboro, located at 1370 Gateway Blvd Suite 200, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, USA, stands as a local point of interest within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform category. As part of the renowned Vanderbilt Health system, this clinic offers access to a network known for its expertise in cardiovascular medicine. Examining the available patient feedback provides valuable insights into the environment, services, and features of this facility.

One long-term patient, who has been visiting the Murfreesboro office for three years, shares a consistently positive experience: "Everyone has always been pleasant and helpful. I cannot remember a time that I had to wait long after I arrived for my appointment." This speaks to the efficiency and courteousness of the administrative and clinical staff. The patient further acknowledges the nature of a heart clinic, where unscheduled or urgent cases may arise, potentially causing occasional delays. They commend the clinic's willingness to accommodate such situations, highlighting the importance of thorough patient evaluation and timely care for unexpected health issues. The review concludes with a strong endorsement of the medical professionals: "Some of the best Doctors and best Nurses in the country work at Vanderbilt and many of those can be found here." This underscores the perceived high caliber of the healthcare providers at this location.

However, another patient recounts a significantly negative experience during an echocardiogram procedure performed by a technician named Sheri Marsh. The reviewer describes the technician as "very strange," leading them to check her badge. The patient perceived discomfort from the technician, possibly related to their race. During the procedure, the technician questioned the ordering doctor in a way the patient found irrelevant and uncomfortable, especially given their status as a transplant patient under the care of a transplant physician. The reviewer also reported the technician repeatedly focusing on the same area without taking an image and an overall uncomfortable experience. Subsequently, the patient alleges that the radiologist included a "nasty note" in their radiology report. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly advises others: "DO NOT GO HERE !"

Considering these contrasting reviews, the environment at Vanderbilt Heart Murfreesboro appears to be generally positive and efficient, with a welcoming and helpful staff, as noted by the long-term patient. However, the second review raises serious concerns about the conduct of at least one staff member and the potential for discriminatory behavior and unprofessional communication within the reporting process. This suggests that while many patients may experience high-quality care in a pleasant setting, negative experiences can occur and should be taken into consideration.

I am an older woman and had an echo yesterday. They had a man do the procedure and I was very uncomfortable with that. When you see a male doctor the procedure is to have a female nurse with him if you are undressed but apparently it’s ok to let a male tech do a procedure in a room alone with you. I am 74 years old and felt this needed to be shared.

"Save time, skip the line." False advertising Terrible wait times even with arriving 15 min early for appointments. Sick patients aren't separated at all from healthy patients. Do not recommend.

Lost my blood draw for lab testing and will need to come in and get poked again. On past couple monthly draws had a trainee that didn't know what they were doing.
