The provided reviews offer a mixed perspective on the services associated with Dr. Birdas. One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, detailing a situation where the patient, Dr. Birdas's surgical patient, was allegedly sent to the Cardiac Intensive Care unit post-operatively without any orders for pain medication, resulting in prolonged and "excruciating pain." This review highlights a significant concern regarding post-operative pain management and communication within the surgical team.

Conversely, the second review presents a positive experience, with the patient stating that "Dr Brdas was fantastic in doing my lung surgery" and expressing happiness with the follow-up care provided by someone named Brianna. This suggests that Dr. Birdas is capable of delivering successful surgical outcomes and that at least some patients have a positive experience with his care and the associated team.

Given the conflicting nature of these two reviews, it is crucial for individuals considering Dr. Birdas for their cardiothoracic surgical needs to approach this information objectively. The negative review raises serious concerns about post-operative care and the potential for oversights in critical aspects of patient management. The positive review indicates successful surgical intervention in at least one instance. It is important to recognize that individual experiences can vary, and these two reviews may not represent the totality of patient outcomes or experiences with Dr. Birdas and his team.

My brother had surgery today, 12/28/18. He was sent to Cardiac Intensive Care post op by Dr. Birdas with NO orders for pain medication at all. We are now 10 1/2 hours out post op and he is still in excruciating pain. His aurgeeon failed to order post op pain medication. Unreal! His nurse iand the nurse practitioner have been wonderful at attempting to get him relief from his pain.but he hasn't been able to get ahead of the pain.
