Customer reviews present a mixed view of Temple Heart & Vascular Institute. One reviewer detailed significant administrative issues, including long wait times, insurance coordination problems, billing errors, and delayed delivery of medical devices. They reported that while Dr. O'Murchu was “nice, caring, interested, and knowledgeable,” the administrative aspects of the practice were problematic. The reviewer also noted the ability to get a new patient appointment promptly.

Conversely, another reviewer expressed strong trust in Temple, having had three open heart surgeries at the institution. They stated that despite the unpleasant nature of the procedures, the staff “always did their absolute best to make it the best they could for me.”

These reviews highlight a discrepancy between the quality of medical care provided by the doctors and the efficiency of the administrative processes. While the medical professionals are generally viewed positively, the administrative issues are a significant concern.

I had a total of 3 open heart surgeries at Temple! I wouldn't trust another hospital with my life like I have Temple. For such an unpleasant experience everyone at Temple always did their absolute best to make it the best they could for me.

They give you a tracking device. However, they say that they’re tracking the time that patients are in their care. I left that tracking device on a chair then explained to the nurse that I absolutely had no need for it.

Dr. Obe is a wonderful doctor I used to go somewhere else but after being treated by her during a hospital stay, I decided to switch over and now have been here for a year.
