This detailed introduction focuses on ProHealth Care, a recognized healthcare provider listed on our platform, offering insights into their environment, services, features, and what patients have to say about their experiences, particularly in the context of cardiac care, even though the provided reviews touch upon broader aspects of their services.

ProHealth Care is located at N17W24100 Riverwood Dr, Waukesha, WI 53188, USA. While the provided information doesn't specifically detail their cardiac facilities, ProHealth Care is a well-established healthcare system known for providing a wide range of medical services, which undoubtedly includes cardiology. You can reach them at (262) 928-2745 or their mobile number, +1 262-928-2745, to inquire about their specific cardiac services and schedule appointments.

Based on general knowledge of comprehensive healthcare systems like ProHealth Care and the positive review regarding the information desk, it's likely that their facilities offer a welcoming and organized environment. A helpful and welcoming information desk, as mentioned in the review, suggests a patient-focused approach from the moment you enter. While the review doesn't specifically describe the cardiac care areas, one can infer that ProHealth Care strives to maintain a professional and comfortable setting for all patients, including those seeking cardiac services. Modern healthcare facilities typically include well-equipped examination rooms, advanced diagnostic imaging suites, and comfortable waiting areas designed to promote patient well-being.

As a comprehensive healthcare provider, ProHealth Care likely offers a wide array of cardiac services. While the exact details should be confirmed by contacting them directly, typical cardiology services available at such an institution often include:

  • Diagnostic Cardiology: Utilizing various tests and procedures to assess heart function and identify cardiac conditions. This may encompass electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, stress testing (both exercise and pharmacological), Holter and event monitoring, and potentially more advanced imaging techniques like cardiac CT angiography or MRI.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Focusing on risk assessment, lifestyle modifications, and medical management to prevent the development or progression of heart disease. This involves counseling on diet, exercise, smoking cessation, and managing conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.
  • Interventional Cardiology: Offering minimally invasive procedures to treat heart conditions. This could include coronary angiography, angioplasty and stenting for blocked arteries, and potentially interventions for structural heart disease.
  • Electrophysiology: Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). Services may include electrophysiologic studies, catheter ablation, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation and management.
  • Heart Failure Management: Providing comprehensive care for patients with heart failure, including medication optimization, lifestyle guidance, and potentially advanced therapies.
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation: Supervised exercise and education programs designed to help patients recover from cardiac events or procedures and improve their cardiovascular health.

The features of ProHealth Care, particularly in their cardiac services, are likely to include a commitment to patient-centered care, a team of experienced and board-certified cardiologists, and access to advanced medical technology. The positive review mentioning a "professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating" doctor aligns with the expectation of high-quality medical professionals within the ProHealth Care system. The efficient technician providing clear instructions for the X-ray, while not directly cardiac-related, suggests a general standard of competent and communicative staff across their departments, which is crucial for a positive patient experience in cardiology as well.

The mention of quick results for the X-ray indicates an efficient workflow and timely communication of findings, which is also important in cardiac care, especially in urgent situations. While the thumb X-ray is a different medical domain, it reflects positively on the overall operational efficiency of ProHealth Care, suggesting that cardiac diagnostic procedures are also likely handled with similar efficiency.

While the provided reviews offer glimpses into the patient experience at ProHealth Care, they are not specifically focused on cardiology services. However, the positive feedback regarding the information desk and the doctor suggests a patient-friendly and professional environment that would likely extend to their cardiac department. To gain a more specific understanding of patient experiences within their cardiology services, it is advisable to seek out reviews on platforms dedicated to healthcare feedback or directly inquire with ProHealth Care for testimonials or patient stories related to cardiac care.

The person at the information desk got me in a wonderful mood for the day. She was extremely helpful, happy, and very welcoming. My doctor was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to my needs. I may take in some doughnuts for my "new friends".

The technician was efficient & gave clear instructions when my son needed to get an X-ray of his thumb. It was slightly awkward to hold one hand with the other, but he managed. The results were read quickly & we didn't need to spend a lot of time waiting.

My wife had a 4:00 appointment and I had one at 4:30. We arrived in the waiting area at around 3:45. We both were taken in almost immediately and I was finished just before 4:00, and my wife was finished at 4:00. Both of our CT Techs were very nice and informative. We both received our results the same day.

I've used Aurora for decades, I recently saw a new doctor at ProHealth and realized from the front desk to the doctors there is a difference. With Aurora I needed to wait 4 to 12 weeks to see a nurse practitioner, at Prohealthcare I saw a doctor the next day. And I would rate him above my expectations. If I can get my primary doctor to switch to ProHealth I would never go back to Aurora. And, after yesterday's appointment with Kelly in radiology (ProHealth), just confirmed my opinion of Aurora.
