Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab Introduce

Welcome to the local introduction of Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab, a facility dedicated to providing vascular care services in Augusta, Georgia. As a platform focusing on connecting local users with essential healthcare providers under the category "Heart Doctor Near Me," we aim to offer a detailed and objective overview of this clinic based on publicly available information.

Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab is located at 1350 Walton Wy, Augusta, GA 30901, USA. For inquiries or to schedule an appointment, you can contact them at (706) 774-7022 or their mobile number +1 706-774-7022. This accessibility is crucial for local users seeking timely vascular health assistance.

Based on the category "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is reasonable to infer that Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the vascular system, which includes arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. These conditions can range from common issues like varicose veins and spider veins to more serious problems such as peripheral artery disease (PAD), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and carotid artery disease. While specific services offered are best confirmed directly with the clinic, a vascular lab typically provides a range of diagnostic procedures and potentially some interventional treatments related to these conditions.

To provide a balanced perspective, it's important to consider feedback from real patients. Review information available online offers mixed experiences. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the check-in staff, describing them as rude and lacking compassion. This reviewer also mentioned being made to wait outside in the cold, indicating a potential issue with the waiting area experience or policies on a particular day. This feedback highlights an area where patient experience may need improvement.

Conversely, another reviewer shared positive experiences regarding their husband's quadruple bypass surgery. They specifically praised the cardiologist, surgeon, and physical therapists as "excellent." The ICU nursing staff post-surgery also received high praise. However, this same reviewer noted inconsistencies in the nursing staff on the cardiac floor, with some nurses being professional and caring, while others were perceived as scarce or even inconvenienced by patient requests. This suggests that while the medical expertise and care in certain areas are commendable, there might be staffing or consistency issues in other departments.

The second review also raises a crucial point about potential understaffing, suggesting that the good care received was sometimes limited by availability. The reviewer expresses ambivalence, acknowledging the medical expertise present while also highlighting concerns about personnel and staff-to-patient ratios. This is an important factor for local users to consider, as it can impact the overall patient experience and the timeliness of care.

Considering the category "Heart Doctor Near Me," potential services offered at Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab might include non-invasive vascular testing such as ultrasound, Doppler studies, ankle-brachial index (ABI), and pulse volume recordings (PVR). These tests help diagnose various vascular conditions by assessing blood flow and identifying blockages or abnormalities in blood vessels. Depending on the scope of the lab, they might also offer minimally invasive procedures for treating certain vascular issues. It is advisable to directly contact the lab to inquire about the specific diagnostic and treatment options available.

Regarding the environment of Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab, the limited information available online doesn't provide a detailed description of the clinic's ambiance or facilities. However, the negative comment about being asked to wait outside suggests that the indoor waiting area might have limitations in terms of space or policies during certain times. For local users who value a comfortable and welcoming environment, it might be beneficial to inquire about the waiting area and overall clinic atmosphere when scheduling an appointment.

In terms of features, a vascular lab typically focuses on specialized equipment and trained professionals dedicated to diagnosing and managing vascular diseases. The positive remarks about the medical team involved in the bypass surgery indicate the presence of skilled physicians and therapists. However, the inconsistencies noted in the nursing staff suggest that the level of care and patient interaction might vary depending on the specific team members encountered.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available online for Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab. Local users are encouraged to contact the clinic directly to inquire about any ongoing promotions, special programs, or payment options they might offer. It's also worth checking their official website or any associated hospital network websites for additional information about their services and any potential outreach initiatives.

In conclusion, Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab appears to be a facility providing vascular diagnostic services in Augusta, GA. While some patients have reported excellent experiences with the medical and surgical teams, there are also concerns raised about the check-in staff and inconsistencies in the nursing care on the cardiac floor. Potential understaffing may also be a factor influencing the overall patient experience. For local users searching under "Heart Doctor Near Me," Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab offers a location within the community. However, it is recommended to consider the available feedback and directly contact the clinic to gather more specific information about their services, environment, and current operational procedures to make an informed decision about your vascular healthcare needs.

The check in people are rude!! They have no compassion for peoples family or how they treat people. I hope it’s never their family. Everyone upstairs is wonderful. They would not even let you sit inside in the waiting area. They told us we had to sit outside in the cold. Very very rude. And something needs to be done about them. If they hate their job that much then they need to go elsewhere.

From the moment we stepped in the door, the staff, nurses, physicians, have all been amazing!!! The facilities are immaculately clean and well taken care of. We all feel welcomed and comfortable here. It's been a blessing having people here that I feel like I can can trust with my mom's life. This is the best hospital in the CSRA, And from my experiences, the state of Georgia!! Keep up the good work!!

I gave 4 stars because they took decent care of my husband but some of the nurses are NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!! They will walk right in the room, look you in the face and WILL NOT speak. Ashley and Heather were very nice...Piedmont needs to do another class on manners and epathy towards the patients and their guests.
