Phoenix Children's Cardiology Introduce

For families seeking a dedicated "Pediatric Cardiologist Near Me," Phoenix Children's Cardiology, located at 7505 S McClintock Dr #103, Tempe, AZ 85283, USA, with contact numbers (602) 933-3366 and +1 602-933-3366, offers specialized cardiac care for infants, children, and adolescents. Reviews from parents provide insights into the quality of medical care, particularly highlighting the expertise of Dr. Michael Nguyen, while also pointing out potential areas for improvement in administrative processes.

One parent shares a particularly positive experience after transferring to Phoenix Children's Cardiology from another facility. They describe their experience as "amazing," specifically praising Dr. Michael Nguyen as "one of the best pediatric cardiologists." This review emphasizes Dr. Nguyen's patient-centered approach, noting his attentiveness to their concerns and his thorough questioning. Notably, Dr. Nguyen's direct communication with the child helped alleviate the anxiety the young patient had been experiencing for several weeks. The parent expresses gratitude for Dr. Nguyen's time, his ability to create a calm environment for both the child and the parent, and his overall care. This testimonial underscores the importance of a cardiologist who not only possesses medical expertise but also has the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with young patients and their families.

In contrast, another review presents a different perspective, highlighting significant issues with wait times and administrative processes. While acknowledging that "the staff is great nice enough," this reviewer recounts an excessively long wait time of over an hour, despite the clinic not appearing busy. The communication regarding the delay was also perceived as unprofessional, with the patient being told the exam room was being cleaned ten minutes prior to it actually being ready. Ultimately, the reviewer reports being at the clinic for a total of three hours for what seems to have been a follow-up appointment to receive test results. Adding to the frustration, the reviewer mentions that a physician assistant was intending to order the tests they were already there to get the results for, suggesting a potential lack of coordination or communication within the clinic on that particular occasion. This experience led the reviewer to label the clinic as "the most unprofessional place I've been."

Considering these two reviews, the environment at Phoenix Children's Cardiology appears to be one where the medical professionals, particularly Dr. Michael Nguyen, are capable of providing excellent and compassionate care, especially in addressing the unique needs and anxieties of pediatric patients. The positive review paints a picture of a clinic where doctors take the time to listen, communicate effectively with children, and create a sense of calm and trust. However, the negative review suggests potential challenges in the clinic's administrative efficiency and communication regarding wait times, which can significantly impact the overall patient experience.

However, potential drawbacks highlighted by the reviews include:

  • Significant Wait Times: One reviewer experienced an excessively long delay despite the clinic not appearing busy.
  • Potential Issues with Administrative Processes: The negative review suggests a lack of efficiency and communication regarding appointment flow and follow-up care.

Currently, no specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. However, the positive testimonial regarding Dr. Michael Nguyen's exceptional care could be considered a form of endorsement for families seeking a compassionate and skilled pediatric cardiologist. For local users in Taiwan who may have friends or family in the Tempe, Arizona area with children needing specialized heart care, the positive feedback about Dr. Nguyen's expertise and his ability to connect with young patients could be a significant factor in their decision-making process. However, it would also be prudent to be aware of the potential for long wait times and to perhaps inquire about typical wait times and appointment procedures when contacting the clinic.

In conclusion, Phoenix Children's Cardiology in Tempe, AZ, appears to be a provider of specialized pediatric cardiac care, with Dr. Michael Nguyen receiving high praise for his clinical skills and his ability to effectively communicate with and care for young patients. The environment seems to be one where compassionate medical care is a priority. When searching for a "Pediatric Cardiologist Near Me," the expertise of the medical team at Phoenix Children's Cardiology, particularly Dr. Nguyen, is a significant strength, but it may be beneficial to gather more information about the clinic's operational efficiency.

We transferred to Phoenix Children's from another place and we had such an amazing experience here. Dr. Michael Nguyen is one of the best pediatric cardiologists. He sat down and listened to our concerns, asked a lot of questions. He directly communicated with my kid, which was a huge help to get over the anxiety my kid has been feeling for many weeks. Thank you Dr. Nguyen for taking the time to listen, and making me and especially my kid feel calm. We are very grateful.

The staff is great nice enough the wait time is crazy not busy but have been waiting over an hr. Asked how much longer they would be was told he was next they were just cleaning the exam room 10 minutes ago. By the time it was done was there 3 hrs. It was the most unprofessional place I've been. Then the physician assistant was going to order all the test we were there for the follow up results to.

Dr. Saleem Almasarweh is one of the Best Doctor I've ever met. He answered all my questions I had on my up coming ASD repair procedure. He addressed all my concerns. The most important thing is he actually listened to me and not talk over me. He also gave me a booklet about the ASD repair and went over it with me and let me keep to read and review.

Had a great experience here! All of the staff was so welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. The office was very clean and the wait was short. Dr. Stock presented us with options for care and did not pressure us to do anything unnecessary. ALSO they were so sweet with my 2 yr old, making sure she felt comfortable. Couldn’t ask for better!
