Pacific Pediatric Cardiology Introduce
For parents and guardians in Los Angeles, California, seeking specialized cardiac care for their children, Pacific Pediatric Cardiology, located at 1700 E Cesar E Chavez Ave # 1300, Los Angeles, CA 90033, USA, operates within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform category. This clinic focuses on addressing the unique cardiovascular needs of infants, children, and adolescents. While one patient review offers positive feedback regarding the staff, environment, and a specific doctor, another details a significantly negative experience concerning appointment handling and perceived discriminatory treatment. It is important for local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating this provider.
The address on E Cesar E Chavez Ave # 1300 suggests that Pacific Pediatric Cardiology is situated within a medical building, likely offering a dedicated space for pediatric cardiac consultations and examinations. According to one review, the facility is "very clean and organized," which are important aspects for a healthcare environment, particularly when dealing with young patients. Parents can generally expect a child-friendly waiting area, examination rooms equipped for pediatric cardiac assessments, and a professional setting adhering to medical hygiene standards. The mention of a specific room number (#1300) indicates a defined suite within the larger medical complex.
As a pediatric cardiology practice, Pacific Pediatric Cardiology specializes in a range of services tailored to the heart health of children. Based on the positive review mentioning a check-up by "Dr. Bravo," the services likely include:
- General Pediatric Cardiology Consultations: Addressing various heart-related concerns in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Cardiac Evaluations and Diagnoses: Utilizing specialized tools and techniques to diagnose congenital heart defects, acquired heart conditions, and other cardiovascular issues in young patients.
- Management of Pediatric Heart Conditions: Developing and implementing treatment plans for diagnosed cardiac conditions in children.
- Prenatal Cardiology Consultations (Potentially): Counseling expectant parents whose unborn child has been diagnosed with a heart condition.
- Follow-up Care for Pediatric Cardiac Patients: Providing ongoing monitoring and management for children with known heart conditions.
The features of Pacific Pediatric Cardiology, as perceived by patients, present a mixed picture. One reviewer highlights several positive aspects:
- Sweet, Professional, and Helpful Staff: This suggests a patient-focused approach from the administrative and clinical support team, contributing to a positive initial experience.
- Polite and Confident Doctor (Dr. Bravo): The reviewer found Dr. Bravo to be polite and confident in his diagnoses, which can be particularly reassuring for first-time parents navigating their child's health concerns.
- Clean and Organized Environment: A clean and organized clinic can instill confidence in the quality of care provided.
However, the second, highly critical review raises significant concerns about other aspects of the practice:
- Issues with Appointment Scheduling and Record-Keeping: The patient reported that their confirmed appointment did not appear in the system, leading to initial denial of service.
- Poor Handling of Tardiness: Despite arriving only five minutes late due to parking issues, the patient was initially told their son could not be seen.
- Inconsistent Application of Policies: The reviewer noted that another patient who arrived late for their appointment was accommodated without issue, leading to a feeling of discrimination.
- Lack of Transparency and Communication: The patient felt they were not given clear reasons for the denial of care and experienced difficulties in obtaining necessary documentation (absence sheet).
- Financial Burden Despite Lack of Service: The patient incurred parking fees despite their child not being seen by the cardiologist.
- Unprofessional Behavior: The reviewer noted that a receptionist was not wearing a name badge and they had to ask for her name.
Given the stark contrast between the two reviews, it is challenging to identify clear promotional information. The positive review could be seen as an organic endorsement of Dr. Bravo and the general professionalism of some staff members, as well as the cleanliness of the facility. However, the detailed negative review significantly counteracts this, highlighting potential issues with administrative processes, customer service, and equitable treatment of patients. Therefore, there is no clear promotional messaging to extract from this information.
For local users considering Pacific Pediatric Cardiology based on the "Heart Doctor Near Me" platform, it is crucial to weigh both the positive and negative feedback. The positive review suggests a potentially pleasant experience with at least one of the doctors and the general staff, as well as a clean environment. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about appointment management, customer service inconsistencies, and the potential for discriminatory treatment. Parents may want to inquire specifically about appointment confirmation procedures and the clinic's policies regarding tardiness and cancellations before booking an appointment.
To gather more information and make an informed decision, local users are encouraged to contact Pacific Pediatric Cardiology directly at (323) 526-2483 or +1 323-526-2483. They may wish to inquire about the specific pediatric cardiologists on staff, the range of services offered, appointment scheduling protocols, and the clinic's policies on patient interactions. Visiting the facility at 1700 E Cesar E Chavez Ave # 1300, Los Angeles, CA 90033, USA, for a preliminary visit or to speak with administrative staff might also provide further insight into the clinic's environment and operational procedures.
In conclusion, Pacific Pediatric Cardiology offers specialized cardiac care for children in the Los Angeles area. While one patient experienced a positive interaction with Dr. Bravo and found the staff and environment commendable, another patient reported significant issues with appointment handling and perceived unfair treatment. Local users should carefully consider these contrasting experiences and conduct their own due diligence, including direct communication with the clinic, to determine if Pacific Pediatric Cardiology meets their child's specific healthcare needs and their expectations for patient care and administrative processes.

The whole staff is so sweet, professional, and helpful. Dr. Bravo checked my baby girl and he is polite and confident in his diagnoses which as a first time parent is comforting. The place is also very clean and organized.
This facility is the worst my grandma had an approved referral, the two girls in the front were so unprofessional and didn’t want to do their job. She was giving me the run around said they had never approved it. Long story short it was approved they found the approval in their fax, I decided to take her somewhere else if they can’t find a simple paper what makes me think they will call me to follow up with appointments. Horrible service
Very unprofessional group .. They change your appointment one day prior to your visit and if you can’t come you have to reschedule for another month ... do not book appointments here please
