Orlando Heart Center Introduce

For individuals in US seeking information about a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Orlando Heart Center, located at 7236 Stonerock Cir, Orlando, FL 32819, USA, is a potential option to consider. The provided contact number is (407) 370-5800, with the international dialing code +1 for those calling from outside the United States. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the center based on publicly available patient reviews, which present contrasting experiences.

When considering a cardiac care facility, understanding the patient experience, the environment, and the services offered are crucial factors. Online reviews can offer glimpses into these aspects, but it's important to recognize that they reflect individual experiences and may not be universally representative.

One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with Orlando Heart Center. The patient alleges that the center's primary focus appeared to be on ordering numerous tests, resulting in substantial costs for both the patient and their insurance company. The reviewer specifically recalls asking about the cost of ordered tests and claims the manager's response of not knowing was untruthful. This patient reports receiving thousands of dollars in bills and their insurance being charged close to $20,000 for what they deemed "BS unnecessary testing" that did not resolve their health issues. Furthermore, they mention being seen by different nurse practitioners on several occasions, with the actual cardiologist only appearing for a very brief period when the treatment approach seemed ineffective. This patient also describes a negative experience with prescribed medication, alleging a bad reaction and a lack of response from the center to their repeated attempts to seek guidance on managing the medication. Finally, the reviewer recounts receiving an unexplained bill followed by an early morning call from accounting demanding payment, despite the patient's claim of paying at the end of each visit. This overwhelmingly negative experience led the patient to vow never to return to the center.

In stark contrast, another review offers a highly positive perspective of Orlando Heart Center. This reviewer states that "everyone at this center is wonderful" and praises the doctors as "knowledgeable, kind and patient." They specifically mention Dr. Akram and Dr. Shroff as "experienced and terrific doctors" whom they trust implicitly. The reviewer also commends the staff as friendly, notes acceptable waiting times, and describes the waiting and examination rooms as "clean and well equipped." This patient and their spouse express complete satisfaction with the care received at the center.

Given these two diametrically opposed reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment of Orlando Heart Center. One reviewer describes a place focused on excessive testing and billing, with limited direct doctor interaction, while the other portrays a center with wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring professionals in a clean and well-equipped setting. This discrepancy highlights the importance of considering multiple perspectives and potentially seeking additional information from various sources.

Regarding the services offered at Orlando Heart Center within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category, the reviews suggest the availability of consultations with cardiologists (Dr. Akram and Dr. Shroff are mentioned), diagnostic testing (as indicated by the numerous tests mentioned in the negative review), and prescription medication. The specific types of tests or procedures are not detailed, but they likely encompass standard cardiac diagnostic tools. As a specialized heart center, it can be inferred that they offer a range of services related to the diagnosis and management of various heart conditions. However, a comprehensive list of services would typically be found on the center's official website or by contacting them directly.

Features of Orlando Heart Center, based on the positive review, could include knowledgeable and caring doctors, friendly staff, acceptable waiting times, and clean, well-equipped facilities. However, the negative review suggests potential issues with billing transparency, the necessity of ordered tests, the level of direct physician involvement, and responsiveness to patient concerns regarding medication. These contrasting viewpoints make it difficult to definitively list the center's features without further corroborating information.

No specific promotional information is provided in the given text. It is common for medical centers to highlight their specialized services, physician expertise, or patient care philosophies on their websites or through other marketing materials. Individuals interested in learning about any unique programs or features offered by Orlando Heart Center would need to consult their official website or contact them directly.

In conclusion, Orlando Heart Center presents a mixed picture based on the available patient reviews. While one reviewer had a very positive experience, praising the doctors, staff, and environment, another reported significant issues with perceived unnecessary testing, high costs, lack of physician involvement, and poor communication regarding medication and billing. For individuals in US considering Orlando Heart Center as a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is crucial to be aware of these contrasting experiences. Further research, including seeking information from the center directly about their services, billing practices, and physician specialties, is strongly recommended. Given the potential for high costs and the concerns raised in one of the reviews, exploring local cardiac care options in US might offer a more accessible, transparent, and potentially less financially burdensome alternative.

Everyone at this center is wonderful. The doctors are knowledgeable, kind and patient. My wife sees Dr Akram and I see Dr Shroff. Both are experienced and terrific doctors. We would trust no others. Staff is friendly, waiting times are acceptable, and most of all the waiting and examination rooms are clean and well equipped. We are well satisfied.
