However, the patient reviews provide a starkly contrasting view of the patient experience at Oregon Heart Center PC, specifically concerning at least one of the doctors, Dr. Debra Hughes. One positive review mentions kind and professional assistants, with a specific staff member, Breanna, being commended for her exceptional kindness and going above and beyond to help a patient recover from the side effects of a PET scan. This suggests that some members of the support staff contribute positively to the patient experience.

In stark contrast, another highly critical review details a deeply negative experience with Dr. Debra Hughes. The reviewer alleges a lack of knowledge on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), unprofessional behavior such as googling the condition during the consultation, and unsolicited and upsetting personal advice against having children despite medical clearance from other providers. The reviewer also claims that Dr. Hughes doubted a diagnosis from another reputable medical institution, attempted to prescribe an unfamiliar medication requiring out-of-pocket payment, and displayed a lack of empathy. This patient's account further includes allegations that Dr. Hughes stated there were no specialists for POTS in Oregon (which the reviewer believes to be false) and made inappropriate comments about the patient's driving ability without relevant medical knowledge. The reviewer intends to report this experience to the medical board and their primary doctor and actively share their negative experience to warn other potential patients.

Given the severity and specificity of the negative review, it is crucial for potential patients to be aware of this reported experience. While individual experiences can vary, this account raises significant concerns about the quality of care, knowledge base, and bedside manner of at least one physician at Oregon Heart Center PC. It is important to note that this review represents one individual's perspective.

Features of Oregon Heart Center PC would generally include its location in Salem, making it accessible to residents of the area. As a practice focused on cardiology, it likely has the necessary equipment for basic cardiac diagnostics. However, the conflicting patient reviews make it difficult to ascertain consistent positive features regarding patient care provided by all practitioners within the center.

There is no "promotional information" available for Oregon Heart Center PC in the provided data. Typically, medical practices rely on their reputation and patient referrals. However, the strongly negative review could significantly impact the center's reputation among potential patients.

For local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" and considering Oregon Heart Center PC, it is essential to acknowledge the significant disparity in the available patient feedback. While some staff members are described as kind and professional, serious concerns have been raised about the conduct and competence of at least one of the doctors. Potential patients may want to consider this information carefully and perhaps seek additional reviews or information before making a decision about their cardiac care. Contacting the center directly to inquire about the qualifications and specialties of the various physicians on staff might also be a prudent step.

In conclusion, Oregon Heart Center PC in Salem offers a location for cardiac care. While some aspects of the patient experience, particularly with support staff, have been described positively, a detailed and highly critical review raises significant concerns about the knowledge, empathy, and professionalism of at least one of the physicians. Local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should be aware of these differing perspectives and consider them when making healthcare decisions. Further research and direct communication with the center may be advisable to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the care provided.

All of the assistants were kind and professional. When my PET scan was finished, I was having troubles returning to normal. Breanna was especially kind to me, going out of her way to bring me coffee and more to reverse the medication’s side effects. I was finally able to continue my day. Thank you all so much for your kindnesses.

I was referred for a Cardic Pet Stress test last week. I was brought back before my appointment time which was so nice! Everyone from registration to the technician were amazing, and did everything they could to put me at ease, and they explained everything in detail. The test went great and had results the next morning. I was super happy with this facility!
