Morristown Heart Introduce
Navigating matters of the heart requires trust and expertise. For residents of Morristown, Tennessee, and the surrounding areas seeking dedicated cardiovascular care, Morristown Heart presents itself as a local option. Situated at 735 McFarland St, Morristown, TN 37814, USA, this clinic aims to provide accessible cardiac services to the community. You can reach them at (423) 585-5567 or their mobile line at +1 423-585-5567.
When choosing a healthcare provider, understanding the environment and the team is crucial. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance and facilities are not explicitly available online, it is generally expected that a cardiology practice would offer a comfortable and professional setting for consultations, examinations, and potentially some diagnostic procedures. Typically, such clinics house examination rooms equipped for cardiac assessments, waiting areas for patients, and administrative spaces for staff operations. The presence of advanced diagnostic equipment is also a key feature to look for in a heart care facility, enabling thorough evaluations of a patient's cardiovascular health.
The services offered by a heart doctor encompass a broad spectrum of cardiac care. Generally, a cardiology practice like Morristown Heart would likely provide consultations for various heart conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease. Diagnostic services are also a cornerstone of cardiac care, potentially including electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring. These tests help in assessing the electrical activity of the heart, its structure and function, and its response to exertion. Depending on the scope of the practice, they might also coordinate or provide referrals for more invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting, although the reviews provided offer a mixed perspective on the necessity and recommendation of such procedures.
Features that often distinguish a cardiology practice include the expertise and experience of the physicians and other healthcare professionals, the utilization of advanced technology for diagnosis and treatment, and a patient-centered approach to care. While the name suggests a focus on heart health, the specific areas of specialization within Morristown Heart are not detailed in the provided information. It is common for cardiology practices to have doctors with specific interests or expertise in areas like interventional cardiology (performing procedures like stenting), electrophysiology (managing heart rhythm disorders), or heart failure management.
However, it is important to consider the feedback shared by individuals who have experienced the services at Morristown Heart. The provided reviews offer a glimpse into some patient experiences, and it is prudent to acknowledge these perspectives. One reviewer expressed concerns regarding the communication and recommendations received after a CTA, highlighting a discrepancy between the nurse practitioner's initial assessment and the doctor's subsequent opinion. This individual also mentioned a very brief consultation and a suggestion that seemed inconsistent with their ongoing treatment, leading them to seek a second and potentially third opinion. This feedback underscores the importance of clear communication and a thorough understanding between patients and their healthcare providers.
Another review presents a more critical viewpoint, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the overall experience. This patient praised Dr. McQueen but raised significant concerns about a nurse practitioner, citing issues with communication, a perceived lack of knowledge, and feeling dismissed. The long wait times and the cost of the co-pay for what was described as an unproductive appointment were also points of concern. Furthermore, this reviewer mentioned negative experiences with the office staff, describing them as rude and unresponsive, and noted similar complaints in other reviews. This feedback highlights the significance of not only the clinical care but also the overall patient experience, including interactions with all members of the healthcare team and the efficiency of administrative processes.
Promotional information is typically used to attract new patients and highlight the benefits of choosing a particular healthcare provider. Without specific promotional details provided, it is challenging to comment on any ongoing offers or unique selling points of Morristown Heart. Generally, clinics might promote new patient specials, highlight the expertise of their physicians, or emphasize their commitment to using advanced technology. It would be advisable to contact Morristown Heart directly or visit their website (if available) for any current promotional information.
In conclusion, Morristown Heart, located in Morristown, TN, aims to serve the local community's cardiovascular needs. While the general expectation is that such a clinic would offer a range of diagnostic and consultative services for various heart conditions, the provided patient reviews offer a cautionary perspective. Potential patients should consider these experiences alongside any other information they gather when making decisions about their heart care. It is always recommended to have open communication with healthcare providers, ask questions, and seek clarification to ensure a clear understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans. For specific details about the environment, services, features, and any promotional offers at Morristown Heart, direct contact with the clinic is advised.

I am a new patient here. I like that so far, they can do all of my testing on site Had nuclear medicine, stress test, and echogram taken care of and a heart monitor put on. I like the set up. The wait is not long and the staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind. I am 👍🏻 impressed!
Nice clean place. Really like Dr Rama He really took the time to listen and very thorough. I like the fact I can have all the heart tests done in office instead of dealing with hospital. So far so good. Everyone has been nice . Thank you !
