Midwest Cardiovascular Introduce

For residents of Festus, Missouri, and the surrounding communities seeking comprehensive cardiovascular care, Midwest Cardiovascular, located at 1439 US-61, Festus, MO 63028, offers a local option for a range of cardiac services. While one patient review highlights the exceptional and potentially life-saving care provided by a physician associated with the practice, Dr. Adem, another review points to potential issues with appointment wait times. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of what local users might expect from Midwest Cardiovascular based on the available information.

The environment of Midwest Cardiovascular in Festus is not explicitly described in the provided reviews. However, based on its designation as a cardiovascular practice, it is likely to be a medical clinic setting equipped for consultations, diagnostic testing, and potentially some outpatient procedures related to heart health. Patients can generally expect examination rooms, waiting areas, and areas dedicated to specific cardiac tests. The mention of a stress test being conducted suggests the presence of necessary equipment for such procedures. While one review mentions a long wait time, the kindness of the staff is also acknowledged, which may contribute to the overall patient experience despite the delays.

Based on the positive review focusing on Dr. Adem's interventions, Midwest Cardiovascular likely offers a range of critical cardiovascular services. The specific services mentioned or implied include:

  • Emergency Cardiac Intervention: The account of Dr. Adem's rapid response in a critical situation suggests the practice is equipped to handle or coordinate the treatment of acute cardiac events, potentially including the insertion of stents during a heart attack.
  • Stent Placement: The successful installation of multiple stents indicates that the practice offers interventional cardiology procedures to open blocked coronary arteries.
  • Cardiac Follow-Up Care: The long-term relationship described in the review, spanning fifteen years and including ongoing monitoring and treatment, highlights the practice's commitment to long-term cardiac health management.
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Follow-Up: The mention of managing a patient through a quad bypass surgery suggests that the practice provides care for patients who have undergone major cardiac surgery, including post-operative management and ongoing monitoring.
  • Diagnostic Services: The negative review mentions a three-hour stress test, indicating that Midwest Cardiovascular offers cardiac stress testing as a diagnostic tool to evaluate heart function under physical exertion. It is likely they also provide other standard cardiac diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG) and potentially echocardiograms and Holter monitoring.

The features of Midwest Cardiovascular, as perceived through the reviews, present a mixed picture:

  • Highly Skilled and Dedicated Physicians: Dr. Adem is portrayed as an exceptionally skilled and caring physician who goes above and beyond for his patients, treating them like family and providing timely and accurate medical advice. This suggests that the practice may be home to other similarly dedicated healthcare professionals.
  • Potential for Long Wait Times: One significant drawback highlighted in a review is the consistent experience of long wait times for scheduled appointments, sometimes exceeding an hour even when arriving early. This suggests potential issues with scheduling or patient flow within the clinic.
  • Kind and Helpful Staff: Despite the long wait times, the staff is generally described as kind, which can positively impact the overall patient experience.

The provided information does not contain any explicit promotional details or special offers from Midwest Cardiovascular. Individuals interested in learning more about the practice, its physicians, and the specific services offered are encouraged to contact them directly at the provided phone number: (636) 931-7101 or +1 636-931-7101. When calling, it would be beneficial to inquire about the physicians on staff, the range of cardiovascular services provided, appointment procedures, and any specific protocols in place to minimize wait times.

It is important for potential patients to weigh the positive account of exceptional and potentially life-saving care against the reported issues with appointment punctuality. While the quality of medical care, particularly in critical situations and long-term management, appears to be highly regarded by at least one patient, the experience of long wait times for scheduled appointments is a significant factor to consider for those who value their time. Further inquiries to the clinic may provide more insight into their current scheduling practices and any efforts to address patient wait times.

In conclusion, Midwest Cardiovascular in Festus, MO, appears to be a practice where patients may encounter highly skilled and dedicated physicians, as exemplified by the account of Dr. Adem's remarkable intervention and ongoing care. The range of services likely includes both diagnostic procedures like stress tests and interventional treatments such as stent placement, as well as long-term management of various cardiac conditions. However, potential patients should be aware of the reported issues with significant wait times for scheduled appointments. Contacting Midwest Cardiovascular directly can provide more detailed information about their services, physicians, and current appointment protocols to help local users make an informed decision about their cardiac care needs.

Would give 5 stars because the office and the doctors are great, but their billing department is a joke. They fraudulently charged my insurance for an appt I never had and so far have dragged their feet fixing it, even after telling me it would get fixed. A month later I am still dealing with this. Even my insurance company has contacted them about it.

Dr. Guzon and Dr. Bouhasin are excellent physicians. Together, they saved my dads life when Mercy South said there was nothing else they could do. The drive from South County to Festus is worth the excellent care my dad and I receive
