Mark W. Vogel, MD Introduce
Navigating your heart health journey requires a knowledgeable and experienced cardiologist. If you're searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" in the St. Louis area, Mark W. Vogel, MD, located at 625 S New Ballas Rd #2015, offers a range of cardiovascular services. This introduction aims to provide local users with detailed information about Dr. Vogel's practice, combining publicly available details with insights gleaned from online reviews to present an objective overview.
Dr. Mark W. Vogel is a medical doctor specializing in cardiology, with his office situated at a convenient location in St. Louis, Missouri. The address, 625 S New Ballas Rd #2015, suggests a professional medical building likely equipped to provide various cardiac services. Patients can reach his office directly at (314) 251-1700 or via mobile phone at +1 314-251-1700 for inquiries, appointments, or other communications.
Understanding the environment of a medical practice can contribute to a patient's comfort and confidence. While specific details about Dr. Vogel's office ambiance are not readily available online, medical suites in similar professional buildings typically offer a clean and organized setting designed for patient care. Patients can likely expect a reception area for check-in and waiting, private consultation rooms for discussions with the doctor, and potentially examination rooms equipped for basic cardiac assessments. The presence of his office within a larger medical complex might also suggest access to shared facilities or collaborative relationships with other specialists, potentially streamlining referrals if needed.
The services offered by a cardiologist encompass a broad spectrum of care related to the heart and vascular system. Based on the general scope of cardiology, Dr. Vogel likely provides diagnostic services to identify various heart conditions. These could include electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG) to measure the electrical activity of the heart, echocardiograms utilizing ultrasound to visualize the heart's structure and function, Holter monitoring to record heart rhythm over an extended period, and stress tests to evaluate the heart's response to physical exertion. Cardiologists also manage existing heart conditions through medication, lifestyle recommendations, and may coordinate with interventional cardiologists or cardiac surgeons for procedures like angioplasty, stenting, or bypass surgery when necessary. Given the reference to a CT scan in one of the reviews, it's plausible that Dr. Vogel's practice has the capability to order or facilitate such advanced imaging for comprehensive cardiac evaluation.
The features of Dr. Vogel's practice would ideally include a patient-centered approach, emphasizing clear communication and personalized care. However, the online reviews provide a mixed perspective on this aspect. One reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the level of interaction and felt pressured to undergo a specific test, while also alleging a negative reaction to asking multiple questions about their heart condition. This account suggests a potential communication style that may not align with all patients' preferences for active involvement in their healthcare decisions. Another review, while initially positive, describes a later experience where the patient felt their ongoing symptoms were dismissed, highlighting a potential disconnect in addressing persistent health concerns.
It is important to consider that online reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the entirety of patient interactions with Dr. Vogel. However, these accounts raise important points about communication, patient involvement, and the thoroughness of addressing patient concerns. Prospective patients may find it beneficial to consider these perspectives alongside the basic information about Dr. Vogel's practice.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available online for Dr. Mark W. Vogel's practice. It is common for healthcare providers to rely on their reputation, referrals, and online directories to attract patients rather than offering explicit promotions. Patients seeking a new cardiologist are advised to consider factors such as location, insurance coverage, the doctor's expertise in their specific heart condition, and their personal preferences for communication and patient care style.
In conclusion, Mark W. Vogel, MD, is a cardiologist located in St. Louis, Missouri, offering a range of services related to heart health. While specific details about the office environment and comprehensive service list are not fully available online, he can be contacted at (314) 251-1700 for direct inquiries. The online reviews offer a glimpse into past patient experiences, highlighting both potential strengths and areas where some patients have expressed concerns, particularly regarding communication and the handling of patient questions and persistent symptoms. Individuals seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" in St. Louis should weigh all available information and consider their own healthcare needs and preferences when making a decision about their cardiac care.

Thought the man was wonderful at the beginning. Last visit after, pacemaker, regurgitating valves. After medicine and still not catching my breath on exertion. He told me repeatedly 3 times. That some of my symptoms I was going to have to live with the rest of my symptoms we all in my head. Primary doctor could see that my heart was working harder on 1 side than the other. He thought I might have pulmonary artery hypertension.
Dr. Vogel is not only a rigorous scientist who helps you cut through all the conflicting information on Google, but a super kind and caring human being who fits the Mercy Hospital culture perfectly. He's the best!
We absolutely love Dr Vogel. He listens to your concerns. Does not rush you out the door. Very upbeat. He is the best. Very knowledgeable.
Very kind doctor! Takes the time to listen to your concerns and does not pass judgment. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended!
