Located at 3519 Town Center Blvd S A in Sugar Land, TX, the office of Kota Reddy, MD FAAC, likely offers a standard medical office setting. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance and facilities are best obtained through a visit, patients can generally expect a waiting area, consultation rooms for discussions with Dr. Reddy or other healthcare professionals, and examination rooms equipped for cardiac assessments and tests. The location in Town Center Blvd S suggests accessibility within Sugar Land.

Kota Reddy, MD FAAC, as a board-certified cardiologist, likely offers a range of services focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases and conditions. These services may include:

  • Comprehensive Cardiac Evaluations: Thorough assessments of your heart health, including a detailed review of your medical history, physical examinations, and evaluation of your individual risk factors for heart disease.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Utilizing various diagnostic tools to identify and assess cardiac conditions. These may include electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), echocardiograms, stress tests (exercise or pharmacological), Holter and event monitoring, and potentially other specialized tests as needed to understand your specific cardiac health. The negative patient review indicates that some tests, at least, are conducted in the office.
  • Management of Heart Conditions: Providing medical care for a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), coronary artery disease (angina, myocardial infarction), heart failure, arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), and valvular heart disease. As a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Reddy has met specific qualifications and standards in the field.

  • Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications to treat various heart conditions, carefully considering individual patient needs and potential interactions.
  • Follow-up Care: Providing ongoing monitoring and support for patients with chronic heart conditions to ensure their long-term cardiovascular health and well-being.

The features of Kota Reddy, MD FAAC, and his practice can be gleaned from the provided patient reviews. One review details a significantly negative experience, highlighting several concerns. These include a lack of communication about the doctor's absence (due to vacation), a long wait time for tests (six hours), a lack of explanation about the tests, and a prolonged delay in receiving test results (more than two weeks due to the doctor's vacation). The reviewer also questions the necessity of seeing the doctor solely for the delivery of results if initial assessments and tests are conducted by a nurse practitioner and technicians. Furthermore, this review expresses dissatisfaction with the lack of patient care, regret, or apologies for the inconvenience and delays.

Another review offers a mixed perspective, stating that "the doctor is very good" but strongly criticizing the front desk staff as "pathetic" for their handling of insurance information. This review emphasizes the crucial role of the front desk in the overall patient experience and suggests a need for improvement in this area of the practice.

The contrasting nature of these reviews suggests that while some patients may find Dr. Reddy's medical expertise to be satisfactory, there appear to be significant concerns regarding the office's administrative processes, communication, and patient care, particularly in situations where the doctor is unavailable. The delay in receiving test results, as highlighted in the negative review, can be a critical issue for patients awaiting important information about their heart health.

As Kota Reddy is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FAAC), this designation signifies that he has met specific professional standards and is recognized for his expertise in the field of cardiology. This credential can be an important factor for patients seeking a qualified cardiologist.

The provided information does not include any specific promotional details about Dr. Reddy's practice. It is common for medical practices to focus on their expertise and the quality of care provided. The front desk staff is pathetic, I provided change in insurance information, but she refused to confirm if the doctor accepts it. The doctor is very good. But as it is true that front desk can make or break a business. He needs to improve this aspect.

Awful experience. I was not told I could fill out health record and ended up wasting 35 min. on my 1st visit. After spending 2 hrs. there I was told they were out of the meds for my test. I had to re-schedule. My next visit was 5 hrs. long with a lot of wasted time in between tests. Then waited an hour waiting to talk to the Dr. on a video chat. I would not recommend this Dr.
