One review expresses significant concern, stating that Dr. Taylor "did not read my chart properly before appointment, because the primary condition was not known or considered." The reviewer, involved in "CT surgery," emphasizes the high stakes of such procedures and expresses relief at having received "proper care from others" subsequently. This review raises serious concerns about Dr. Taylor's preparation and attention to detail in critical surgical cases.

Conversely, another review provides a highly positive account of a pre-surgical consultation with Dr. Taylor. This patient described the experience as "excellent in all ways," praising the courteous and welcoming staff. The reviewer highlighted Dr. Taylor's awareness of the problem, his proactive approach in explaining a stent procedure with a sample, and his willingness to answer all questions thoroughly without rushing. This patient found Dr. Taylor to be "a caring and compassionate man."

These contrasting reviews illustrate the complexity of evaluating a healthcare provider based on limited information. While one patient reported a significant lapse in pre-appointment preparation, another experienced a thorough, informative, and compassionate consultation. Potential patients may find it challenging to reconcile these differing accounts. It underscores the importance of considering individual experiences while also recognizing that a single negative review does not necessarily reflect the entirety of a physician's practice.

When choosing a cardiothoracic surgeon, factors such as meticulous preparation, thoroughness in reviewing medical history, clear communication of surgical procedures, and a caring bedside manner are crucial. The available reviews present conflicting information regarding these aspects of Dr. Taylor's practice. Patients facing the need for cardiothoracic surgery may want to seek second opinions or gather further information to ensure they feel confident in their chosen surgeon.

CT surgery is a sober business with lives on the line, but he did not read my chart properly before appointment, because the primary condition was not known or considered. This is not the worst of it, but luckily I have since been rescued by proper care from others.
