Houston Cardiac Association Introduce

For individuals in Houston, Texas, seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Houston Cardiac Association is located at 10480 S Main St, Houston, TX 77025, USA. As a potential provider of heart health services, it is important for local users to consider various aspects of this practice, including the environment and patient experiences, to make an informed decision. This introduction aims to provide an objective view based on the available online reviews.

The environment at Houston Cardiac Association is depicted differently in the two provided reviews. One reviewer described a severely overcrowded waiting room upon arrival, with no initial seating available and the need for some to use folding chairs. This suggests that the clinic can become quite busy, potentially leading to discomfort for waiting patients, many of whom were noted to be elderly. The reviewer also pointed out the lack of communication or apology for the extensive delays, and the absence of even basic amenities like water offered to those waiting. This paints a picture of a potentially overwhelmed and impersonal waiting area experience.

In stark contrast, the second reviewer, who has been a patient of "Dr. Montgomery" since 2005, reports consistently "great treatment and support from the team." This suggests that while there might be issues with the administrative or waiting room experience, at least one of the physicians at Houston Cardiac Association is highly regarded by long-term patients.

Given the name "Houston Cardiac Association," it is reasonable to assume that the practice offers a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. These typically include:

  • General Cardiology Consultations: Evaluation of heart-related symptoms and medical history.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Such as Electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Management of Heart Conditions: Including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Guidance on lifestyle modifications and risk factor management.
  • Follow-up Care: Monitoring and management of ongoing cardiac issues.

However, the specific services offered by Houston Cardiac Association are not detailed in the provided information. Potential patients would need to contact the clinic directly for a comprehensive list.

In terms of features, the positive review mentioning "Dr. Montgomery" highlights the expertise of at least one of the physicians within the association. The long-term patient relationship suggests trust and satisfaction with the medical care received from this particular doctor. However, the negative review points to a significant potential drawback: long waiting times and a lack of patient-centered communication and care in the waiting area. This discrepancy suggests that the experience at Houston Cardiac Association might vary depending on individual circumstances and potentially the specific doctor being seen.

There is no promotional information provided in the text. For local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," the features to consider based on these reviews are the reported quality of care from at least one physician versus the potential for long waits and a perceived lack of consideration for patient time in the waiting area.

For local users in Houston looking for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Houston Cardiac Association, located on S Main St, is an option to consider. However, the contrasting patient experiences shared in the reviews are important. One long-term patient reports great care, while another details a very negative experience with excessive waiting and poor communication. Potential patients may want to inquire about typical wait times and the specific doctor they would be seeing when contacting the clinic.

To learn more about Houston Cardiac Association, their services, and the physicians on staff, you can contact them directly at the provided phone number: (713) 599-1144 or their mobile number: +1 713-599-1144. Their address is 10480 S Main St, Houston, TX 77025, USA. Given the mixed feedback, it might be beneficial to ask specific questions about appointment wait times and what to expect during a visit.

In conclusion, Houston Cardiac Association offers cardiology services in Houston. While one patient review praises the care received from Dr. Montgomery over many years, another describes a very negative experience with long waiting times and poor patient handling in the waiting area. Local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should weigh these contrasting accounts and consider contacting the clinic directly for more information to determine if it meets their needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Montgomery since 2005 and have always had great treatment and support from the team.

If I’m going to drive over an hour and a half to take my mom to her appointment for 11AM, get here 15 mins in advance, you better expect me not to wait another 45 minutes for the actual appointment to get going. These people have absolutely no respect for their patient’s time. I hope I never see this place again and feel sorry for anyone who has to be put through this hot mess of a process! Find doctors who actually care please!

This Dr is one of the very few that understands the emerging care model of wellness. Thank you Dr. Montgomery!
