Florida Cardiology Group Introduce

For residents in and around Hudson, Florida, seeking a cardiology practice listed under the platform category "Heart Doctor Near Me," Florida Cardiology Group operates at 14100 Fivay Rd, Hudson, FL 34667, USA. Patient reviews available online provide insights into the experiences of individuals who have sought cardiac care at this group practice. This introduction aims to present an objective overview based solely on these reviews to assist local users in making informed decisions about their cardiac care, highlighting both the strengths and weaknesses identified by patients.

Information regarding the specific physical environment of Florida Cardiology Group is not extensively detailed in the provided reviews. However, one patient mentioned being left in an examination room for a significant period without updates, suggesting that the layout includes such rooms for patient consultations and examinations. Another reviewer noted that the staff was "very pleasant and efficient" in some aspects, indicating a potentially positive interaction within the office setting, at least with some members of the team. However, overall descriptions of the clinic's ambiance, comfort, or accessibility are not prominent in the feedback.

As a cardiology group practice, Florida Cardiology Group likely offers a comprehensive range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. These typically include clinical consultations, electrocardiograms (ECGs/EKGs), echocardiograms, stress testing, Holter and event monitoring, blood pressure management, lipid management, management of coronary artery disease, heart failure management, arrhythmia evaluation, and preventive cardiology counseling. The reviews specifically mention Dr. Di Martino and Dr. Chalavarya as practitioners within this group, suggesting that patients have interacted with multiple physicians at this location.

One review focuses on Dr. Di Martino, describing him as "super smart and articulate." This positive assessment of Dr. Di Martino's clinical acumen is significant. However, the same reviewer expresses considerable disappointment with the "office management." Specific issues raised include the failure of nurse practitioners to return calls and messages, Dr. Di Martino routinely being an hour late for appointments, and frequent instances of the phone ringing without anyone answering. This paints a picture of potential inefficiencies and communication breakdowns within the administrative aspects of the practice, which can significantly impact the patient experience.

Several reviews specifically address Dr. Chalavarya. One patient who is a registered nurse with 30 years of experience in cardiac care expressed "utmost respect for Doctor Chalavarya." This positive feedback from a fellow healthcare professional suggests a high regard for Dr. Chalavarya's clinical abilities. However, other experiences with Dr. Chalavarya were less positive. One patient recounted arriving early for an appointment but being left alone in an examination room for nearly an hour without any communication, only to find out that the doctor had not yet arrived. This led the patient to leave, citing a "rude disregard for their patient's time." Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, stating that this lack of respect for patient time did not foster a good feeling about the potential doctor-patient relationship, implying arrogance.

Interestingly, the patient who experienced the significant delay with Dr. Chalavarya also noted that "aside from leaving me alone with no update on the doctor's delay, his staff was very pleasant and efficient." This suggests a dichotomy within the office, where some staff members may be courteous and capable, while systemic issues related to communication and time management persist.

Collectively, the reviews for Florida Cardiology Group present a mixed picture. While individual physicians like Dr. Di Martino and Dr. Chalavarya receive some positive remarks regarding their clinical skills and knowledge, significant concerns are raised about the overall office management, including communication issues, appointment delays, and unanswered phone calls. These administrative challenges appear to be a recurring theme in the patient feedback and could be a major consideration for potential new patients.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Therefore, local users will need to rely on the experiences shared by other patients and potentially their own direct interactions with the office to assess the overall value and suitability of Florida Cardiology Group for their cardiac care needs.

In conclusion, Florida Cardiology Group in Hudson, Florida, includes physicians such as Dr. Di Martino, who is described as knowledgeable, and Dr. Chalavarya, who has earned the respect of at least one experienced cardiac nurse. However, significant concerns have been raised by multiple patients regarding office management, including poor communication, frequent appointment delays, and unanswered phone calls. Potential local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should carefully weigh these firsthand accounts of administrative challenges alongside any perceived strengths of the individual physicians when considering this group practice for their cardiac care. It is advisable to seek further information and perhaps inquire directly about the measures being taken to address the reported issues.

To gather more comprehensive and up-to-date information about the services offered, the current office practices, and the experiences of recent patients, it is recommended that interested individuals contact Florida Cardiology Group directly at (727) 862-8383 or +1 727-862-8383. Direct communication can provide clarity and help potential patients determine if this practice meets their healthcare needs and expectations, especially in light of the concerns raised in the available feedback.

Dr. Di Martino is super smart and articulate, but the office management is very disappointing. Calls and messages left for the nurse practitioners don't often get return calls. Di Martino is routinely an hour late to appointments. Calling the office often just gets a ring but nobody picks up. I'd say look elsewhere for a cardiology practitioner. They're either too overwhelmed or they just have serious technical and communication problems.
