Dr. Varol S. Togay, MD Introduce

For residents of Simi Valley, California, seeking a local "Heart Doctor Near Me," Dr. Varol S. Togay, MD, located at 1687 Erringer Rd UNIT 105, presents a cardiologist with notable recognition for his expertise in handling complex and sensitive cardiac cases. However, alongside this commendation, some concerns have been raised regarding the office's administrative efficiency, particularly concerning phone communication and the handling of medical records.

Information regarding the environment of Dr. Togay's office is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a cardiologist's office in a medical unit such as Suite 105 on Erringer Road would include a reception area for patient check-in and waiting, consultation rooms for discussions between the doctor and patients, and examination rooms equipped for basic cardiac assessments. The overall ambiance, cleanliness, and specific amenities of the office are not described in the available feedback. Therefore, an objective portrayal of the physical environment is not possible based solely on this information.

Based on the positive patient testimonial, Dr. Togay offers a range of cardiology services. As a cardiologist, his expertise would encompass the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels. These services typically include comprehensive cardiac evaluations, interpretation of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and potentially more specialized procedures. The review mentioning his work on a "super sensitive and risky case" involving valve issues and other complexities suggests a proficiency in managing significant cardiac conditions. While the full spectrum of services offered at his office is not itemized, his specialization in cardiology implies a capacity to address various heart health concerns, potentially including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and coordination of interventional procedures or surgeries when necessary.

One of the key features highlighted in the patient reviews is Dr. Togay's exceptional expertise in managing complex and high-risk cardiac cases. The heartfelt testimonial from a family member whose grandmother was a "super sensitive and risky case" underscores Dr. Togay's profound knowledge and skill in navigating challenging cardiac conditions. The statement that his expertise "went ABOVE and beyond" speaks to a remarkable level of competence and dedication to his patients, particularly those with intricate medical histories. This ability to successfully treat complex cases suggests a deep understanding of cardiology and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes even in difficult circumstances.

However, a significant concern raised in another review pertains to the office's administrative efficiency, specifically regarding phone communication and the handling of medical records. The reviewer states that the office "NEVER ANSWERS PHONE" during the first hour of their stated opening time and reports a significant delay (four weeks and ongoing) in sending medical records to another healthcare provider. This administrative challenge could pose a considerable inconvenience and potential barrier to timely care coordination for patients. While this feedback does not reflect on Dr. Togay's clinical skills, it is a crucial aspect of the overall patient experience and accessibility of his practice.

The contrasting nature of these two reviews presents a nuanced picture. On one hand, Dr. Togay is lauded for his exceptional medical expertise in complex cardiac cases, suggesting a high level of clinical competence. On the other hand, the reported difficulties with phone communication and medical record transfer raise concerns about the administrative aspects of his practice. Potential local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" will need to weigh these factors when considering Dr. Togay's services.

Currently, there is no information provided about any specific promotional offers or initiatives associated with Dr. Togay's practice. Medical professionals typically build their reputation through the quality of their care and patient outcomes rather than relying on promotional activities. The strong positive testimonial regarding his handling of a complex case could be considered a powerful, albeit unsolicited, endorsement of his medical abilities.

In conclusion, Dr. Varol S. Togay, MD, in Simi Valley, is presented as a cardiologist with notable expertise in managing complex and high-risk cardiac conditions, as evidenced by a compelling patient testimonial. However, potential patients should also be aware of a reported significant issue with the office's phone communication and the timely processing of medical records, which could impact the overall patient experience. For local users seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," it is advisable to consider both the reported exceptional clinical skills in challenging cases and the potential administrative hurdles when making their healthcare decisions. Further investigation or direct communication with the office may be beneficial to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current administrative processes.

Best heart doc there is. I had a SVT problem for 15 years. Numerous doctors just added drugs. Dr Togay was in the ER on the last trip. Tells me what needs to be done. He did the ablation and no hospital visits the past 6 years.

They have an annoying registry, with a real witch you have to deal with on the phone. They should really cut out the middle man, and like, pick up the phone like a ‘normal’ place of operation. A novel idea, I know; but you guys need to try that out.
