Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees Introduce

For residents of Voorhees Township, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees is located at 900 Centennial Blvd Suite 201, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043, USA. This facility represents a collaboration between two major healthcare systems, Cooper University Health Care and Inspira Health, aiming to provide cardiac services to the local community. However, it is essential for prospective patients to be aware of recent patient reviews that highlight significant issues with the administrative and operational aspects of this particular office.

One detailed patient review describes a severely negative experience related to billing and customer service. According to this review, the office allegedly failed to request insurance verification during the patient's first visit. While insurance information was subsequently uploaded to their app after the first bill was received, the patient claims that the office never processed the claim through insurance, even though they had the necessary information. This resulted in the bill being sent to collections. The patient further reports significant difficulties in resolving this issue, stating that a visit to the local office yielded no billing assistance, directing them to call. Subsequent attempts to contact billing involved a 1.5-hour hold followed by a system hang-up. A later call resulted in being told to leave a message with an expected 1-2 business day return call. The reviewer attributes the escalation of the billing issue to the office's initial failure to handle insurance verification correctly and expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the overall experience and customer service, wishing they could give a negative review score.

Another patient review details a significant inconvenience and lack of consideration regarding a scheduled appointment. This patient states that upon arrival at 7:20 am for a nuclear stress test appointment, for which they had fasted overnight and driven 35 minutes in traffic, they were informed that their appointment was canceled due to a broken nuclear stress test machine. This last-minute cancellation, upon the patient's arrival, highlights potential issues with communication and operational readiness at the facility. The inconvenience of fasting and traveling, only to find the appointment canceled due to equipment malfunction, suggests a lack of proactive communication and potentially impacts patient trust and satisfaction.

Based on these two recent patient reviews, it is challenging to positively characterize the environment of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees. The first review points to significant administrative and customer service issues, indicating a potentially frustrating and unresolved billing process. The second review suggests potential problems with appointment scheduling and communication regarding equipment malfunctions, leading to patient inconvenience. While the physical environment of the office (waiting areas, examination rooms) is not described, these critical operational issues could overshadow any positive aspects of the physical space. Prospective patients may be concerned about the reliability of administrative processes and the potential for last-minute disruptions to scheduled tests.

Given the nature of the negative reviews, it is difficult to confidently outline the intended services and features of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees based solely on this feedback. However, as a cardiac care center formed by a collaboration between Cooper University Health Care and Inspira Health, the intended services likely include a range of cardiac diagnostics, treatments, and consultations. These typically encompass:

  • Cardiac Evaluations and Consultations: Assessing patients with various heart-related symptoms and conditions.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Including procedures like Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), Echocardiograms, Stress Tests (including nuclear stress tests, as indicated in one of the reviews), Holter and Event Monitoring, and potentially other advanced cardiac imaging.
  • Management of Heart Conditions: Developing treatment plans for conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Offering guidance on lifestyle modifications and risk factor management.
  • Follow-up Care: Monitoring and managing patients with existing cardiac conditions.

However, the negative reviews raise concerns about the reliability and efficiency of accessing these services, particularly regarding scheduling and administrative processes like insurance billing. The features that might typically be associated with a reputable cardiac care center, such as efficient service and clear communication, are directly contradicted by the experiences shared in these reviews.

There is no information available to suggest any promotional offers or specific features of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees that might be considered a "sale" or unique benefit to new patients. In the absence of positive feedback or information about specific programs, the negative reviews regarding billing and appointment handling are the most prominent pieces of information for local users considering this facility as their "Heart Doctor Near Me."

In conclusion, for residents of Voorhees Township, NJ, searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me," Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care at Voorhees, located on Centennial Boulevard, has received recent negative feedback concerning billing issues and last-minute appointment cancellations due to equipment malfunction. These reviews highlight significant problems with administrative processes, customer service, and operational reliability. While the center is a collaboration between reputable healthcare systems, these reported experiences should be carefully considered by prospective patients. Individuals may want to seek further information or consider alternative cardiac care providers in the area to ensure a smoother and more reliable healthcare experience. Contacting the office directly at (856) 325-6700 or +1 856-325-6700 to inquire about their current billing and appointment management practices may be a necessary step for those still considering this facility.

I have to say that nurses and technicians were awesome, very profesional, comprehensive and dedicated. They were attending not only me, but all patients with so much care and dedication. I was informed about the procedures that I was going thru but they were not limited only to that, they even gave me snacks, coffee and a blanket because I was hungry and cold. They were always wearing their masks and kept people aparts to avoid contamination. Institute was very clean.
