The name "Center for Advanced Cardiology" suggests a focus on providing specialized and comprehensive cardiac care. While specific details about the environment, services, features, and promotional information are not readily available in the provided data, we can infer some potential aspects based on the category "Heart Doctor Near Me" and the center's name. Typically, a cardiology center offers a range of services related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. These services often include clinical consultations, diagnostic testing, and potentially interventional procedures.
In the realm of diagnostic testing, a cardiology center like the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy would likely offer procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) to measure the electrical activity of the heart, echocardiograms (ultrasounds of the heart) to assess its structure and function, stress tests to evaluate how the heart performs under physical exertion, and Holter or event monitors to record heart rhythm over extended periods. These tests are crucial for identifying various cardiac conditions and guiding treatment strategies.
Depending on the scope of services offered, the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy might also provide interventional cardiology procedures. These are minimally invasive techniques used to treat heart conditions, such as angioplasty and stenting to open blocked coronary arteries. However, without specific information, it is not confirmed whether these procedures are performed directly at this location or if patients are referred to affiliated hospitals or centers for such interventions.
Preventive cardiology is another important aspect often emphasized by cardiology practices. This involves identifying risk factors for heart disease, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and smoking, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks through lifestyle modifications, medication, and education. A center for advanced cardiology would likely offer counseling and guidance on adopting heart-healthy habits.
The environment of the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy is expected to be a medical office setting, designed to provide comfort and privacy for patients during consultations and tests. Modern cardiology clinics typically strive to create a welcoming atmosphere to ease any anxiety associated with medical visits. The specific features of the center would likely include well-equipped examination rooms, diagnostic testing areas, and consultation offices.
However, it is important to consider publicly available feedback when evaluating a healthcare provider. The provided reviews offer some insights into patient experiences at the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy. One review mentions receiving two bills for a routine annual visit, including a specialist copay and a facility fee described as an "emergency room visit," which the reviewer found excessive. This raises questions about the billing practices and the categorization of services provided during routine appointments.
Another review details a negative experience regarding appointment scheduling and communication. The patient reported waiting for 45 minutes only to be informed that the doctor had left for the day, despite having a confirmed appointment. This indicates a potential issue with appointment oversight and communication, which understandably led to a lack of trust in the office's ability to handle serious cardiac conditions.
These reviews highlight the importance of considering all available information when choosing a healthcare provider. While the "Center for Advanced Cardiology" name suggests specialized care, these individual experiences raise concerns about administrative processes and communication. Potential patients may want to inquire specifically about billing procedures, appointment confirmation protocols, and after-hours communication to ensure a clear understanding of the center's practices.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy within the provided data. It is advisable to contact the center directly or visit their website (if available) to inquire about any ongoing promotions, special programs, or community outreach initiatives they may offer. Information about accepted insurance plans should also be obtained directly from the center to ensure coverage for services.
In conclusion, the Center for Advanced Cardiology in Katy, located on Katy Freeway, aims to provide specialized cardiac care in the local area. While the name suggests advanced services and expertise in the field of cardiology, publicly available reviews indicate potential concerns regarding billing practices and appointment management. Individuals seeking a "Heart Doctor Near Me" in Katy should consider these factors and conduct further research, including direct inquiries with the center, to make an informed decision about their cardiac care.

A routine ANNUAL visit to this location ( a 3 min ERG and a 10 min discussion with a doctor, total within a 20 min) results in two bills. first, for a doctor services (a specialist, $45 copay) and the Memorial Hermann facilities fee (treated as an "emergency room visit", $162 copay). The facilities fees appear excessive.
Made an appointment six weeks ago for 4 PM today. I also had confirmed the time and date of the appointment yesterday. Got there filled in all of my paperwork. Waited in the waiting room for about 45 minutes until somebody told me that the doctor had left for the day. Lady at the front desk was helpful. However, I don’t trust a doctors office that has a failed oversight with an appointment time to address my serious, cardiac condition. Would rate this zero out of five stars if I could.
