However, the available patient reviews raise significant concerns regarding the patient experience with Dr. Frazier-Mills, particularly in the areas of diagnosis and appointment management. One reviewer described a "Terrible experience" related to the understanding and diagnosis of dysautonomia, a condition involving the autonomic nervous system, which can have cardiovascular manifestations. The reviewer stated that despite presenting with symptoms clearly not indicative of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Dr. Frazier-Mills ordered a tilt table test (a standard test for POTS) without a thorough discussion of symptoms or a physical examination. The negative result, according to the reviewer, led to Dr. Frazier-Mills dismissing their concerns, stating they had "effectively wasted her time" after only a brief interaction. The reviewer further mentioned that Dr. Frazier-Mills's recommendation of increased salt intake was contraindicated for their specific symptoms. Ultimately, this patient sought a different specialist who correctly diagnosed and managed their condition.
This review raises questions about the thoroughness of Dr. Frazier-Mills's diagnostic approach, her understanding of conditions beyond POTS within the realm of dysautonomia, and her communication and empathy towards patients whose symptoms may not fit neatly into a specific diagnostic category. It also suggests a potential lack of willingness to explore alternative diagnoses or engage in a detailed discussion of the patient's concerns.
The second review also describes a "Absolutely horrible experience" related to the doctor's punctuality and respect for patient time. This patient had an 8 AM appointment and underwent a procedure efficiently but then waited for over two hours for Dr. Frazier-Mills, who did not appear. When the patient was contacted 30 minutes after leaving and expressed their frustration with the extensive wait, the response from Dr. Frazier-Mills was described as lacking empathy, simply asking if they wanted to go over the results. The reviewer strongly recommended seeking another doctor if valuing one's time.
This feedback raises serious concerns about Dr. Frazier-Mills's time management and her office's scheduling practices, as well as her communication and empathy regarding significant appointment delays. A two-hour wait without explanation or apology reflects poorly on the patient experience and can be highly disruptive and disrespectful of patients' schedules.
Given these strongly negative reviews focusing on diagnostic approach and patient time management, local users searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" should carefully consider this feedback. While Dr. Frazier-Mills practices at a reputable institution, these individual experiences suggest potential challenges in receiving thorough and empathetic care, as well as potential issues with appointment punctuality.
Currently, there is no promotional information available online for Dr. Frazier-Mills's practice. In the absence of positive reviews or specific details about her areas of expertise beyond general cardiology, the negative feedback regarding diagnostic thoroughness and respect for patient time becomes particularly salient.
For local users in Taiwan who may be seeking cardiac care for themselves or loved ones in the Durham, NC area, the information available presents a mixed picture. While affiliation with Duke Medicine suggests access to excellent medical resources, the provided patient reviews raise significant concerns about the patient experience with Dr. Camille G. Frazier-Mills. The issues highlighted include a perceived lack of understanding of complex conditions beyond a specific diagnosis, a potentially rushed diagnostic process, and a significant disregard for patient time with extended, unexplained wait times and a lack of empathy regarding these delays. It is crucial to weigh these negative experiences heavily when considering Dr. Frazier-Mills as a potential "Heart Doctor Near Me." Seeking additional opinions and exploring other cardiologists within the Duke Medicine system or in the Durham area may be advisable to ensure a positive and effective healthcare experience.
In conclusion, the available patient reviews for Camille G. Frazier-Mills, MD, at Duke Medicine in Durham, NC, paint a concerning picture regarding diagnostic thoroughness, understanding of complex conditions, and respect for patient time. While her affiliation with a renowned medical center is a factor to consider, the negative feedback suggests potential challenges in the patient experience. Individuals searching for a "Heart Doctor Near Me" in this area should carefully evaluate these reviews and consider seeking alternative options to ensure their cardiac care needs are met with thoroughness, empathy, and respect for their time.

Absolutely horrible experience with caring about patients time. Had an 8 AM appointment - and completed the procedure efficiently , then waited over 2 hours for the doctor who never showed. She proceeded to call 30 minutes after we left and when I said how long we had waited, she had no empathy, simply stated “I was tied up, would you like me to go over your results or not.” Would highly recommend if you have the option of seeing another doctor, and you value your time, look elsewhere.
Disrespectful, impatient, rude and severely racist! I'm an elderly lady and was so disrespected by her I left the appointment in tears and then was treated like I was the one who was in the wrong. When she allowed the situation to be created by her staff.
