The office staff is incredibly poor. I was unable to make a follow up appointment without many, many, undo questioning about my insurance. I have three insurances, and ability to pay personally, and have paid for all past appointments. I was put through a questioning ordeal, then they disconnected me! I have never been so insulted in my life. Strongly, strongly recommend against going here for care. They don't !
My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Kwa. We feel extremely fortunate to have been referred to him. He is an excellent physician who takes his time with each patient and somehow still stays on schedule. His staff is very friendly and competent too. They use a patient portal called Follow My Health which is very helpful. The office is clean and well-kept. If you find yourself in need of a cardiologist, you should definitely consider Apex Cardiology.
Do not go to Apex Cardiology. They are very unorganized and very difficult to get them on the phone. Then when you get an appointment they run it like a factory with no person touch or care. I think they are short staffed which is why dealing with them is such a bad experience.
Never been there, but generally not a good sign when a medical office can't keep their phone system up and running. Calling for three days (April 2022) to make an appointment as a new patient and regardless of which option is selected, the call fails. I'll take it as a sign to move one and go somewhere else.
