Carolina Cardiology Associates Introduce
For individuals in the Rock Hill, South Carolina area seeking cardiac care and searching within the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category, Carolina Cardiology Associates, located at 196 Cardiology Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29732, USA, is a local practice. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the clinic based on publicly available patient reviews, highlighting different experiences with the doctors and the overall service provided. It is important to note that patient experiences can vary, and reviewing multiple perspectives can offer a more comprehensive understanding.
One patient shared a highly positive experience with Dr. Brenyo, describing him as "very personable and engaging." This reviewer felt that Dr. Brenyo actively listened to their concerns and demonstrated a clear understanding of the issue they were facing. They appreciated that he patiently described potential treatments and allowed them time to process the information before making any decisions, scheduling a follow-up appointment in six weeks. This patient felt reassured and did not perceive Dr. Brenyo as rushing the consultation or pressuring them into immediate choices, ultimately expressing thorough satisfaction with their visit.
In contrast, another patient reported a significantly negative experience with Dr. Singhi, stating they would have rated the visit lower than one star if possible. This reviewer left the appointment with numerous unanswered questions and felt that Dr. Singhi made assumptions about them. This feedback raises concerns about communication and the doctor-patient interaction during this particular visit. It suggests a lack of thoroughness in addressing the patient's concerns and a potential for miscommunication or a perceived lack of personalized attention.
Adding to the mixed feedback, a third patient expressed disappointment with their visit and indicated they would not return. This individual cited a long wait time of over 40 minutes past their scheduled appointment. Furthermore, they noted seeing a Physician Assistant (PA) who seemed more engaged than the doctor, and a lack of clarity regarding the reason for their referral. The patient expressed confusion about seeing a PA instead of the doctor and felt that the doctor appeared rushed, spending only about five minutes in the room. This reviewer also felt that the doctor made assumptions without asking, did not answer their questions, and provided no clear explanation of their problem or the purpose of the visit. This resulted in frustration at having to pay for what they perceived as a "useless visit," leading them to believe the clinic prioritizes financial aspects over patient care. This patient's experience highlights significant concerns about wait times, communication flow between referring physicians and the clinic, the level of interaction with the doctor versus other healthcare providers, and the overall patient-physician communication and attentiveness.
Based on these reviews, the environment at Carolina Cardiology Associates appears to be one where patient experiences can vary considerably depending on the specific doctor they see. While some patients, like the one who saw Dr. Brenyo, report feeling heard, respected, and well-informed, others describe experiences characterized by long wait times, perceived lack of attention from the doctor, unanswered questions, and a sense of being rushed. The role of Physician Assistants in patient care is also mentioned, which is a common practice in many medical settings, but the context of one review suggests it was not clearly explained or preferred by the patient.
The services offered at Carolina Cardiology Associates would typically include a range of diagnostic and treatment options for various cardiac conditions. These may encompass consultations, electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and management of conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. However, the contrasting patient experiences suggest that the quality of service delivery, particularly in terms of communication, attentiveness, and patient education, may not be consistent across all providers within the practice.
The features of Carolina Cardiology Associates, as perceived through these reviews, present a mixed picture. A potential strength appears to be the personable and engaging approach of some doctors, like Dr. Brenyo, who prioritize patient understanding and shared decision-making. However, a significant concern is the reported lack of attentiveness and communication from at least one other doctor, Dr. Singhi, and the issues raised by another patient regarding long wait times, unclear communication about the care team (PA vs. doctor), and a rushed consultation with unanswered questions. These contrasting features suggest that the patient experience may be heavily dependent on the individual healthcare provider encountered at the clinic.
There is no explicit promotional information provided in these reviews. The positive feedback regarding Dr. Brenyo could be seen as an indirect endorsement of his patient care approach. However, the negative reviews serve as cautionary tales for potential new patients, highlighting areas where the clinic may need to improve consistency in patient experience, communication, and time management. For local users considering Carolina Cardiology Associates, these reviews underscore the importance of potentially researching individual doctors within the practice and being prepared to advocate for their communication needs and understanding of their health concerns.
For local users in the "Heart Doctor Near Me" category considering Carolina Cardiology Associates in Rock Hill, SC, these diverse patient experiences offer valuable, albeit contrasting, perspectives. While some patients have found personable and thorough care, others have reported issues with wait times, communication, and the feeling of being rushed or unheard. It is recommended that potential patients consider these varying experiences and perhaps inquire about specific doctors within the practice when scheduling appointments. Contacting the clinic directly at (803) 324-5135 or +1 803-324-5135 to ask about their approach to patient communication, typical wait times, and the qualifications and specialties of their various healthcare providers may also be beneficial in making an informed decision about their cardiac care.
In conclusion, Carolina Cardiology Associates in Rock Hill, SC, appears to be a practice with a range of healthcare providers, leading to varied patient experiences. While some patients have reported positive interactions characterized by attentiveness and thoroughness, others have expressed concerns about communication, wait times, and the level of personalized care received. Prospective patients should consider these different perspectives and conduct further research or direct inquiries to the clinic to ensure it aligns with their individual healthcare needs and expectations.

Dr. Brenyo was very personable and engaging. He listened to all we had to say. We felt like he understood the issue I was having. He patiently described some possible treatments. He wanted us to have time to digest the information and we would talk again in 6 weeks. This was reassuring and we did not feel he was making quick responses and rushing us to make quick decisions. Thoroughly happy with our visit.
Dr. Brenyo is a very caring doctor. He is genuinely concerned for his patients. He takes his time, explains everything to you and answers any questions or concerns. He put my mind at ease about having a pacemaker put in next month. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Baki is an amazing doctor. But the wait is always dreadful. I had to wait an hour just to pickup the sleep study machine for the weekend. The staff is nice and friendly. Whenever I have insurance issues Jennifer is always amazing with communication with me whatever is needed and how to handle the issues.
Carolina Cardiology is the best. I've seen several of the doctors in the practice and each one has his own specialty in treating patients with different heart conditions. They take time to talk with you and plan the best treatment each patient needs. I have had the best experience with each of the doctors and I am well pleased with the method of treatment each doctor has provided for me.
