Promotional Information:

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia in Paoli, PA, receives mixed reviews. While patients appreciate the efficient online check-in and thorough doctors, some report significant billing and financial hardship issues. Love that you can check in online. When I arrived I was helped quickly. They copied my insurance. I was called back quickly. The doctor was thorough and communicative and spent time with me explaining things and asking if I had questions. Very satisfied. They are busy so book early. First of all, I want to give a shoutout to Judy from the call center bc she is wonderful and has tried her best to help me on all the phone calls we’ve had. My frustration is not with her but with the practice. I experienced a cardiac arrest last June and was treated in Paoli Hospital for 1 day (then transferred to Lankenau for the next 3 weeks), however, treated by CCP’s services instead of MainLine Health’s services. I very clearly had no say or awareness in what treatment was done to me as I was unconscious that day when the arrest happened and comatose for 5 days afterwards. However then I receive a $1500 bill for services from CCP just for that ONE day. That’s AFTER what my insurance paid. Tell me how I’m supposed to pay that amount of money for treatment for something I had NO SAY in happening to me when I was out of work that day and for 3 MONTHS afterwards? Then they decide I won’t even qualify for “financial hardship” to get help from them to bring down the cost? Just because I happened to still have health insurance afterwards? Well what does that matter if this is what y’all want to charge me even after the insurance paying? Again I am not blaming the rep Jody for this, she has been great and I appreciate all her help. But I am blaming the company. Mainline Health qualified me for their “financial hardship” and approved to waive all my medical bills I had from them. But y’all don’t even want to see any proof of income, tax returns, anything, you just decide if I still have a job and insurance I must not have any financial hardship… Who are y’all to decide whether I’m financially struggling or not? I make $20/hour and couldn’t even work for 3 months due to the medical incident you guys treated me for. I have other expenses like a car (including a loan and maintenance for it), food, gas. I don’t understand how you just expect most average Americans nowadays to be able to cough up $1500 especially for medical costs that they again had NO say in.

Overall experience as a practice is very good. Attended to promptly. Everyone is courteous. And Dr. Mehta is both an excellent doc and a wonderful person.

Dislike the belief of no shows in my case it is Ludacris. I have been trying for a year to get an online account to access my account. I am receiving incompetence beyond belief. I hope their level of care will be better. My life is at stake
